Last week, we received a call from a Funeral Directors in Essex, asking us if we could assist a gentleman who lives in Wrexham to change a name plate on an ashes casket, due to it having the wrong date of death on it. Of course, we said that we would help, and today, the gentleman came in so that we could correct it for him 🙂 We were happy that we were able to help this gentleman, so that he didn't have to go all the way back to Essex to get it fixed.

It doesn't matter where you or a Funeral Directors is in the UK, if you need us, we will happily help 💜

It has been absolutely heartbreaking looking through all of the photos, and watching the videos from today's funeral cortege in Birmingham for the late Ozzy Osbourne 💔 Seeing Sharon and Ozzy's children break down crying at the floral display left at the Black Sabbath bench and bridge makes you remember that no matter who we are, famous or not, we all go the same way and we all grieve the same. Our thoughts are with Sharon, Kelly, Jack, and the rest of Ozzy's family, friends, and fellow celebrities at this sad time. May he rest in eternal peace 🖤

How old were you when you experienced grief for the first time? 💔

Mum was 4 and lost her Grandfather, and I was 28 and lost my Great-Uncle, and then 2 months later, my Great-Grandmother. We were very lucky as a family to have so many years without loss, but more losses soon followed. Grief is a terrible thing, and although we work in the industry, we are still human and grieve the same way as you all.

Three years ago, we got the keys to our business premises on Chester Street, in the centre of Wrexham. After trying to set up the business twelve years ago, and not being able to get any funding, we never thought we would be here today owning a business and doing a job that we love. Many people thought that we wouldn't last a year, but here we are at almost three years proving everybody wrong. It took us six weeks to get the property how we wanted it to be before we opened the doors to the public on the 5th September 2022 🙂

We thought it would be cool to put the before and after pictures up of inside and outside of our premises, so you can see the work that went into it all. We are very passionate about changing people's perceptions of funeral homes, so by having a laid back, homely premises, it makes people feel more at ease and less stressed whilst dealing with one of the hardest things in life...A bereavement. Anyway, take a look at our pictures and let us know what you think of the transformation. The last few pictures are of the corridors and arranging room, but we didn't have a before picture.

A client who we looked after last year popped in earlier to see if we could print off a copy of the funeral invoice because she was still dealing with the estate and life insurance of her dear friend 16 months since he passed away. It doesn't matter how long it has been since we cared for you and your loved one, we will always be here to assist you with anything you need 💜
