Mental Health Rapid Response (Bank)

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals experiencing mental health crises?

We're seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Mental Health Rapid Response team. As a Bank Mental Health Rapid Response worker, you'll play a vital role in providing essential support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure Patient Transport: Safely and efficiently transport patients suffering from mental health crises to appropriate healthcare facilities.
• Support Local Authorities: Collaborate with police forces to conduct house extractions for individuals who have been sectioned or recalled.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention to individuals in crisis situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Ideal Candidate:

• Empathy and Compassion: A genuine understanding and concern for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
• Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Resilience and Adaptability: The capacity to handle demanding situations with composure and flexibility.
• Team Player: A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and external agencies.

Must Haves:

• Full UK Driving License: Held for more than 24 months (insurance purposes)
• Age 21 or Over: Must be at least 21 years old (insurance purposes)
• Mental Health Experience: Prior experience working in a mental health setting

Training:

• Restraint Training: How to safely manage and control an individual
• An extensive eLearning program will be provided.

• First Aid Training: Current certification in first aid is advantageous.
