Yesterday was simply beautiful at Hafod House! We celebrated two resident's birthdays with a stunning performance by classical musician Abbey Jones. Her piano playing and lovely voice, singing classical pieces and hymns, touched everyone's hearts. Our residents loved every moment, with some even shedding a few emotional tears. A truly memorable day!

Our Activities Coordinator, Michelle, is lacing up her boots for a monumental challenge on the 7th August- climbing Ben Nevis! She's dedicating this sponsored hike to the residents' fund at Hafod House, aiming to bring even more joy and enriching experiences to our residents. Another week of sunshine and smiles at Hafod House! ☀️ Our gardening club has been busy keeping our planters beautiful and flowers hydrated. 🌻 We also took a fascinating trip down memory lane with wartime memorabilia, ration books, and recipes in honour of Armed Forces Day!

Earlier on this week our residents were getting crafty🖌️🎨 Painting masterpieces and manicures 💅🏻✨

What a week of fun at Hafod House! 🎉 Our residents have been having an absolute blast. From exciting games of "Play Your Cards Right" with giant cards ♠️♥️ to getting creative in our art club 🎨🖌️ painting their own designs, and even some high-flying fun with our giant parachute and balloons 🎈– there's never a dull moment! So much joy and laughter all around.

Sunshine and smiles ☀️ Today we went out early to the Bonc yr Hafod Country Park. We're so lucky to have this on our doorstep. We met and chatted with some lovely dog walkers. Frankie the dog was more than happy to pose for pictures 🐾
