Dynamic Wrexham A centre for children and young people with disabilities in Wrexham, North Wales.

Dynamic is a registered charity providing support for children and young people with disabilities in Wrexham, North Wales. Dynamic offers a range of services for children and young people with diagnosed disabilities aged 8-25 years. These include: after-school and weekend activity sessions, a participation group, nurture programme, advocacy service and a social group for young adults. Dynamic also provide support to parents/carers with regular support groups, well-being treatments and regular family events. In addition, the Dynamic signing choir, Signing Sensations offer our young people a chance to practise twice weekly and perform within the local community at a variety of public and private events. Happy S A T U R D A Y Dynamic Followers 🎨

It’s been a creative and collaborative week here at Dynamic!

Our groups have been busy getting stuck into all sorts of imaginative activities, including:

❤️ Painting and creative artwork, exploring colours and self-expression

🧡 Making animal masks, bringing characters to life through craft

💛 Sensory play, enjoying different textures, sights and hands-on experiences

Alongside all that creativity, we’ve seen some brilliant teamwork too!

❤️ Young people working together during bowling games, cheering each other on

🧡 Spending time with Dynamic’s Development Officers, Paul & Paige, building teamwork skills and growing self-resilience

💛 Supporting one another and engaging in activities together across all groups

We’re so proud of our young people 🌟

Last week we welcomed staff from WCBC Housing who called in to donate proceeds from their Christmas Staff Raffle💰

Staff donated prizes and bought tickets, raising a fantastic total of £530 👏

Happy S A T U R D A Y Dynamic Followers 😊

Week two groups are now well and truly settled back in after the winter break, and it’s been lovely to see routines, friendships and confidence growing again.

This week has included lots of familiar favourites, with plenty of opportunities to practise life skills and have fun along the way:

❤️ Pizza making sessions, building independence and choice-making

🧡 Exploring sensory play, with textures, colours and calming activities

💛 Arts and craft activities, encouraging creativity and self-expression.

A relaxed, happy week full of smiles. Just what we love to see at Dynamic. 🌟

Happy Tuesday Dynamic Followers 😀

Since we launched our new website, which allows supporters to make donations online, we have been blown away by your generosity 😍

One donation we received prior to Christmas was for £100 and made by The Valesco Foundation. On investigation it transpired that this donation was made by the company as part of a Christmas Advent Competition which on this particular day, had been won by Luke Caldecott, one of their employees.

Luke was able to donate the £100 to a charity of his choice and told us that Dynamic is very personal to him. Luke, who now lives in London, was born in Wrexham and diagnosed with ASD when he was 4 years old. He attended The Rofft and had friends who benefited from Dynamic's support.

He also told us that his late grandfather, Charles Caldecott, funeral director, was a Dynamic supporter. When he passed away in June 2023, all donations from his funeral, amounting to £1380 were donated to our charity 🥰

So when Luke was offered this chance he immediately thought of Dynamic. Thank you so much Luke for such a lovely donation and a special thank you to the Valesco Foundation for making this happen ❤️🧡💛

Happy S A T U R D A Y Dynamic Followers 😊

Welcome back to groups and Happy New Year from all staff at Dynamic! ✨

Our first week of the year has been all about reconnecting with friends, settling back into familiar routines and having lots of fun together.

Across our groups we’ve enjoyed:

❤️ Making our own pizzas, choosing toppings and practising independence skills

🧡 Exploring sensory trays, with plenty of textures, colours and sensory fun

💛 Playing games and taking part in different activities around the buildings

It’s been a brilliant start to 2026 - full of smiles. We can’t wait to see what week two has in store for us! 🌟

Our office is now officially open as we kick off 2026!

However, please note that our services and groups do not restart until W/C 12th January 2026. Dates for all groups have been published on Famly and shared across our social media before we broke up in December.
