Happy Tuesday Dynamic Followers 😀

Cast your mind back to Summer ☀️and all the amazing adventures we had. These outings and experiences were made possible thanks to a £500 grant from Making A Difference Locally and the staff at Nisa, Holt Road who nominated us. 😍

Well, some of our young people have finally had a chance to visit the store and thank them personally for their generosity 🥰and for making their Summer so special.

Happy S U N D A Y Dynamic Followers 🎃

We might be a little early, but our Halloween celebrations have already begun at Dynamic! 👻

This week our groups have been getting creative with pumpkin carving, painting and making their very own homemade play dough for some spooky, sensory creations!

We’ve been practicing our ‘C O N N E C T’ skill from the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

Our young people have shown fantastic communication and cooperation, chatting, sharing ideas and helping each other bring their spooky visions to life. 🕷️✨

We can’t wait to see what other Halloween fun next week brings! ❤️🧡💛

Happy ‘Spooky Saturday’ Dynamic Followers 😁

If you know Wrexham well, you’ll most likely be familiar with the ‘Halloween House’ 🎃

It’s always been popular with our young people and we are so excited to announce that it’s back this year and encouraging visitors to raise money for our charity 🤩

Paula has been in touch to tell us
that this year the display is in memory of her father who sadly passed away this year 😔 He was the spirit of the Halloween nights and always enjoyed seeing the joy on the faces of the children. Such a lovely way to remember him ❤️

This year,Joggle the Jester is visiting — the mischievous master of mayhem🎈 Watch in awe as he creates balloon models, juggles, and performs mind-twisting magic…But beware… sometimes Joggle goes a little mad and starts juggling knives! 🔪😱

Come for the scares, stay for the smiles — and help Paula and her family make this Halloween one to remember, for the community, for the children of Dynamic and in honour of their Dad

Happy F R I D A Y Dynamic Followers 🌍

Today is World Mental Health Day, and here at Dynamic we’ve been celebrating by focusing on emotional wellbeing, participation and self-reflection.

Our amazing Dynamic Voice sessions have been working hard on a very special project. They have created their own interactive mental health and wellbeing game!

This week, the children introduced their game into our after school groups for the first time, and it’s been a huge success. The activity helps young people explore their thoughts and feelings, share what makes them happy, and reflect on ways to look after their own mental health through various avenues of support. All through fun, play and teamwork.

A massive well done to all the children who took part, and to the Dynamic Voice group for designing such a brilliant, meaningful resource for everyone to enjoy. ❤️🧡💛

Don’t forget your tickets for our first ever FREE club night for adults (18+) with learning disabilities and/or autism in Wrexham City Centre.

Saturday 18th October 7-10pm
The Lab, Eagles Meadow, Wrexham

Spinning the tunes will be DJ Callum, but if you’d like to control your own sounds and volume then you can make use of our silent disco headphones.

If you are able to navigate a nightclub confidently and safely then you are welcome to attend independently. However, if you usually need some additional support then you will need an essential companion, this could be either paid support staff, a friend or family member.

You are also welcome to bring along other friends and family members who may wish to join in the fun. Their tickets must be booked at the same time.

Happy M O N D A Y Dynamic Followers 😊

October 1st marked the start of ADHD Awareness Month. It’s a time to celebrate and raise understanding about ADHD.

At Dynamic, we work with many incredible children and young people with ADHD. Every day we see their strengths: their creativity, curiosity, energy, determination, humour, imagination and kindness. ADHD brings unique challenges, but it also brings amazing potential. ❤️

Today, one of our Dynamic team visited Wrexham Libraries with their own child and discovered this wonderful display of multilingual children’s books all about ADHD. 🧡

If you’re nearby, we highly recommend popping in to take a look. The library is a brilliant resource for families and a great way to start conversations with children about attention, energy and focus. 💛

Let’s use this month to continue celebrating neurodiversity and make sure every voice is understood and valued.

At Dynamic, we know that accessing playground equipment isn’t just about fun, it helps to:

Earlier this year, Claudine took on the Chester half marathon to help raise funds for Dynamic. She absolutely smashed it too!

As if that wasn't enough, she's only gone and signed up to do the full marathon and tomorrow is the big day. will take place in a few weeks' time.

Over the past few weeks, some of our groups have been working on a very special project thanks to our friends at Making Sense CIO.

They hand-delivered a sensory parcel packed with everything our young people would need to create their very own self portraits. 👧🏿🧕🏽👦🏼👩🏻‍🦰🧑🏻‍🦱👱🏾🧑🏿‍🦲

So far, four of our groups (The Rebels, Innovators, The Tribe and The Creatives) have taken part. Along the way, they’ve been:

❤️ developing their creativity.
🧡 recognising and exploring facial features.
💛 engaging in sensory play.

Imagine our surprise today when we noticed a familiar face popping up 🫣 It was none other than one of our longstanding Signing Sensations members, Cai.

Cai is a currently a residential student at Derwen College but he still practises and performs with us during the college holidays 😍

Happy Sunday Dynamic Followers 😀

Anyone heard of Terry Fox? Well, Terry was a Canadian athlete who lost his leg to cancer and was inspired by children living with cancer to take on an incredible journey.

Sadly Terry was not able to complete his challenge 🥲 as his own cancer returned and he lost his life at the very young age of 22. So every year, across the globe, others finish his run for him and help raise funds for the Institute of Cancer Research.

Next weekend will be huge, Fri 3rd Oct night will see a bucket collection at The Turf pre match, followed by a performance from the Declan Swans on the Saturday.
Then Sunday 5th everyone in Wrexham is invited to join the run. It’s free to enter and 5K around Bellevue Park and whether you walk, run or jog - it’s about community.

Dynamic have new supporters from both Canada and the USA since the incredible rise of Wrexham AFC. We are therefore very happy and proud to be able to support the The Terry Fox Foundation with their fundraising and awareness efforts next weekend.

You’ll even see our very own Signing Sensations performing before the race starts ❤️🧡💛

Terry Fox a Canadian hero. Terry lost his leg to Cancer aged 18 in 1977. Inspired by the suffering he witnessed in Cancer wards, Terry took on the challenge of running across Canada 5,300km Raising Money and awareness for Cancer research.
