We recently completed an installation of a Bespoke Synergy straight stairlift.

The design is slimline, with a folding seat and compact rail, which helps keep the staircase as open and usable as possible for other members of the household.

Installations like this are all about finding practical ways to support day-to-day mobility while working within the existing home layout.

Yesterday, we celebrated Keith as he finished his final day with us and began his retirement.

Keith’s time in this building spans an incredible 44 years. He spent 32 years here, first at Pugh's Plumbers Merchants and then for the last 12 years as part of the Healthcare Matters team. That kind of loyalty to one place is truly rare, and it has been a privilege to have him with us.

Keith has been a familiar face here for decades, and it is hard to imagine this place without him. He brought not only hard work and dedication but also a great deal of character. Known affectionately as our “pigeon man”, Keith has shared his passion with us all… and of course, kept everyone on their toes, even if he was usually the one jumping thanks to a well timed scare.

It will not be the same without him walking through the door each day. His humour, his presence, and the little moments he brought to the team will be deeply missed.

Keith, thank you for everything you have given. We hope retirement brings you all the time in the world to enjoy what you love most.

Eat. Sleep. Pigeon. Repeat.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a training day for Occupational Therapists, with our own seating assessors leading the session and sharing their practical experience around seating assessments.

We really value the close relationships we’ve built with OTs. Working together in this way means we can combine clinical knowledge with specialist seating expertise to ensure people get the right support, comfort, and outcomes.

It’s always a real team effort; the OT, our team, and most importantly, the client or patient we are all working to support.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day. We really enjoy opportunities like this to share knowledge, learn from each other, and continue strengthening these relationships.
