It's been another busy summer in the practice!

We have welcomed two new trainee nurses who you may have seen at the practice - Tia and Luci. They have been with us for just over six months now and are both proving to be great additions to the team 😁

Having joined us in September 2022 to complete his foundation year, Dom has now joined the practice as an associate dentist! Dom works with both NHS and private patients and prides himself on his chairside manner and in particular treating dental phobic patients. Dom is here with us on Tuesday's and Wednesday's 🦷

Finally, a big congratulations is in order for our nurse Toni, who has recently passed her dental nursing exam! 🥳🎓 Two years of hard work has finally paid off! Well done Toni!

✨ Job Vacancy ✨

An exciting trainee dental nurse apprenticeship opportunity has become available at our modern 3 surgery NHS/Private dental practice in Rossett.

You will be provided with a full training plan to assist in the surgery environment to provide a high standard duty of care to our patients. You will be fully trained on infection control and the decontamination of dental instruments.

We will support and encourage you to develop a confident manner when dealing with patients and will be provided with reception training to be able to complete and understand a full patient journey throughout the dental practice.

We are looking for a hardworking candidate with the correct positive attitude, to have a career in a rewarding profession. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, and motivated. GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths is required.

Duties:
Setting up and decontamination of the dental surgery
Providing chair-side assistance
Maintaining excellent infection control throughout the practice
Reassuring the patient
Assisting with reception tasks as needed
Assisting with decontamination of instruments

At the end of your apprenticeship you will receive a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing

Hours: Minimum 2 days
Salary: Minimum wage
