It's not an easy journey committing to our Self -Care and many of us, myself included, may find ourselves forgetting how to self -care sometimes... especially when life throws us the curve balls!

Especially so, if you are in a giving profession or 'just' a giver generally, this can lead to burn out. Topping our own battery levels up, is a must...hence the ' ' on 'just'.. any giver can burn out. We all need to recharge. We wouldn't dream of letting our phone batteries go as flat as we can do sometimes!

I'm so pleased when people have told me that they are reading my book, or have read it and benefited from it. I'm often surprised that it's helped...but perhaps I shouldn't be. When I pulled up to park at Aberystwyth beach front, to wait for the Air b 'n' b to open so I could begin writing, I sent my prayers upwards and my intention for the powers that be, to guide me, to give me the words and to help me write a book that would help others ✨🙏🙌

Poignant 😓 💜✨🙌💫💜

This sculpture appeared in Bristol to mark World Su***de Prevention Day.

A statue in Bristol has been credited with getting people to talk about su***de.
Its artist, who is anonymous, says he has been amazed by the messages people have sent to him, many of which say how much the sculpture has helped conversations around su***de.

The reaction has been so strong, he now wants to use the piece to raise funds for local charity Su***de Prevention Bristol.

I hope you are all staying hydrated. I've been drinking a homemade electrolyte drink.
It consists of Sole (a hydrating Himalyan salt solution, see photo for more details), cucumber, lemon and a teaspoon of local honey. This drink is said to be naturally hydrating and it tastes it. If it's left a day or so, it gets a natural fizz to it, as it ferments, which is great for gut health.

It's been a lovely week of Reiki teachings, with 4 new Reiki Masters.

3 are now practising Kundalini Reiki and the other completed her Usui Reiki Masters today 🥰🙌✨🙏
I love the journey that Reiki takes us on and there are many varieties of Reiki, but Kundalini Reiki is an old favourite from when I first started practising reiki, because of its simplicity in many ways. How it may help with blockages for people whose kundalini has already risen, but maybe stuck and causing them issues from a health perspective, is why I was originally drawn to it.
I usually teach Kundalini Reiki distantly as it can highlight the amazing way that energy works over a distance. Instead, working in person with 3 people who specifically wanted face to face also inspired me, which I'm very grateful for too. 🥰🙏🙌✨
Part II of the Usui Reiki Master today was about learning how to pass on attunements to others (a method of introducing others to work with the reiki energy). It was very beautiful to witness the practise and reminded me once again how humbling it is to work with people who are ready to shine 😀🙌✨
