Residents from Windmill House - Runwood Homes Senior Living recently enjoyed a wonderful mini bus trip to Whittingham Country Park, making the most of the beautiful warm and sunny weather.

The day was filled with smiles and laughter as everyone spent time admiring the swans, ducks and geese around the lake. Residents also enjoyed watching the boats on the water and feeding the ducks, which brought back many happy memories for some.

After a relaxing stroll around the park, everyone stopped at The Flint Café by the lake for some delicious refreshments and a well-earned rest while taking in the lovely scenery.

It was a fantastic day out for all involved, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, nature, and wonderful company together. We look forward to many more enjoyable outings in the future.

Residents enjoyed a lovely morning in the sunshine with paddling pools, refreshing ice lollies, and plenty of laughter while keeping cool in the warm weather. Smiles all around as everyone relaxed, dipped their feet, and made the most of the beautiful summer day together. 🍦💦🌞

This beautiful sunny and warm morning, residents from Windmill House - Runwood Homes Senior Living had a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with Friend in Deed.

Our little visitors and residents enjoyed a lovely time together in the garden, taking part in puzzles, parachute games, ball games, and many other fun activities. Laughter and smiles filled the air as everyone joined in and shared special moments together.

The gorgeous hot weather and bright blue skies created the perfect setting for a truly enjoyable experience. The lovely atmosphere made everyone feel happy, relaxed, and connected.

It was a very enjoyable and memorable day for all involved.

Windmill House Celebrates World Bee Day🐝🐝🐝

Residents, staff, and visitors at Windmill House came together today to celebrate World Bee Day with a fun and engaging afternoon of activities.

The celebrations included creating handmade beehives and learning more about the important role bees play in our environment. Everyone also enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious honeys served on warm crumpets, which proved to be a favourite activity of the day.

The event brought plenty of smiles, conversation, and creativity, while giving everyone the opportunity to appreciate these vital pollinators and the wonderful products they provide.

A lovely time was had by all as the Windmill House community marked World Bee Day together.

What an energetic and fun-filled afternoon at Windmill House with Mr dod Fitness leading movement and music sessions. Residents were full of smiles, laughter, singing, and dancing as everyone joined in and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere together. A lovely way to keep active, lift spirits, and create happy memories with friends and staff alike. We look forward to doing it all again next month .🎶💃🕺
