How has everyone’s January been? I hope all are having a good start to 2026, even if wanting to hibernate 😄
Here’s a round up of my January!
1. Reminiscing about an Indian spice market in Chandni Chowk from a year ago.. a major feast for the senses! How I’d love to visit again!🪷
2. Finally getting round to viewing more of the NIMH (National Institute of Medical Herbalists) Conference online. 👩💻
3. Getting to read PoP (Power of Plants) Magazine, which arrived in the post 😊 (thanks )📖
4. Wildly, signing up to the Great North Run half marathon(!!) for Research ALK+ ( )! I’ve never run more than 10k, and have completed Run Norwich three times for them, in memory of my beautiful sister; who we devastatingly lost from this realm in 2023. This year, we plan on Run Norwich & the Great North Run a week apart (help!). (Link in bio to follow/support/share☺️💜🌈)
5. Yoga..! Lots of yoga (& gym!), trying to work my way out of an injury & be fighting fit for the runs😅 I’ve also upped my turmeric, of course! (Who else is enjoying yoga? Just love, for body & mind!🧘♀️)
6. Caley’s Apothecary ( )..! Lots of time here, since moving to the new premises at the end of August. It’s so lovely meeting so many more in this location, whilst continuing to have the support of those who had already found us at our last premises. Thank you all!💚
7. My therapy room! Much time here, holding consultations and space for people; whilst putting herbal plans and preparations together. I love the light that comes in the two windows in this therapy room. I also love that some other wonderful therapists get to use this space, so that people can access a range of fabulous therapies in one place. ✨
8. Elderflower..! Nope, it’s not out already, it’s just me looking forward to spring 😄 Some days, you can almost feel it in the air already; and other days, the cold is back with what feels like a slap to remind us we’re not there yet 🥶😆
9. And lots of organic herbal teas! Apart from enjoying them, and herbs having a fantastic array of properties, they help warm us up when we get that reminder that it IS still winter. Slow down & enjoy!🌿🫖
