Summer sun can take it's toll on our skin, even if we have been vigilant in applying SPF. Sun damage presents itself as fine lines, dehydration and pigmentation. Botulinum toxin can help to soften those fine lines and wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes.

Excess sweating (hyperhidrosis) is such a common problem and responds well to botulinum toxin. I remember a friend telling me how he would attend meetings with tissue stuffed under his arms so that no one would see his sweat marks. His problem disappeared after treatment.

>What is the difference between botulinum toxin treatment and fillers?
Botulinum toxin is used to reduce wrinkles made when muscles move e.g. Frown lines and crows feet. These are called dynamic wrinkles. Fillers are used to add volume to areas such as cheeks and lips, and to fill permanent lines. These products can be used alone or in combination.
>How long will the effects last? Typically 3-6months.
>Does it hurt? I use local anaesthetic cream to numb the skin before any wrinkle treatments or fillers. Fillers also have local anaesthetic in them too.
>Consultations are free of charge and you can go ahead with treatments straight afterwards if desired.
