This is feeling somewhat relatable today 😂

Yes I'm still here. No I've not disappeared. Apologies my posts have been scaled back, but it's only blooming marathon season! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

On top of my gorgeous regulars, my diary is brimming with marathon folk ironing out niggles, loosening off tight legs, looking for advice and generally trying to make sure their body is in tip top shape for race day, and that they are booked in for 'repair' after 😂

On top of this, I'm training myself. It's been tough 😳 Marathon training is an absolute beast and it really does test everything about you. I've learnt that I actually can get even more hungry than usual 😂, hills are bruuuuuutal, long runs every weekend builds character 🙄😂 and I'm capable of a lot more than I imagined!

So here's to all you marathon folk 😁 I've still got slots available over the next month. I've got you. I'm with you. We've got this! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Starting Saturday 5th April @ 7:45 am, I’ll be teaching over at the amazing Redcar Leisure Centre

Whether you're looking to stretch, strengthen, or simply start your weekend with calm and clarity, this class is for you. All levels welcome—beginners to seasoned yogis!

I'm not one for medals usually as I'm more of a t-shirt gal, but this dinner plate sized Spice Girls one had my name written all over it 😂 5 laps of a 3.28 mile route was quite the mental challenge yesterday, but more miles banked ready for races later on in the year. Anyone else get any medals over the weekend? Let's see them 👍🏼

We're fast approaching marathon season and I'm seeing the diary for April getting booked up with pre and post-event treatments. Don't leave it too late to get booked in

A pre-event massage usually done at least 3 days before the big day, can be the perfect way to invigorate the muscles, ease off any built up tension from your training, flush away any waste products and get those legs feeling fresh

Post-event (some people like it as soon as possible after, but brace yourself for it feeling a little tender) can help with recovery. Going hard on the day can leave the body feeling tight, sore and tired. A treatment after the event can ease all of this and bring life back to your legs to help prevent the post-marathon waddle. IYKYK 😂

It's Boro Half weekend! Who's running it? Who's racing it? Who's cheerleading? Who's volunteering? 👏🏻

After running it last year, I can admit it's not the most inspiring of routes, but it is nice and flat, well organised and well....it's Boro and I'm a Boro girl ❤️

Best of luck to any of you attending this Sunday! I'll be cheering you on in spirit as I have my own training to tackle at the minute 💪🏻

I offer 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute treatments. Don't neglect a bit of self love and self care (Initial consultations are 75 minutes for new Sports Therapy clients)

Massage can calm your nervous system, make you feel like you've had the BEST sleep ever, relieve tense muscles and release pent up emotions.

Sports Therapy can ease pain, improve mobility, aid with recovery from injuries and soothe symptoms of chronic illness.

Hearts for Valentine's week ❤️😂 These one's aren't your typical ones though. Imagine these showing up on your skin!

I use dry cupping on lots of clients. It's great for relieving muscle tension, improving blood flow, increasing range of movement, pain relief, nerve pain and often people find it quite relaxing. The cups are suction cups that decompress the muscle allowing blood to flow freely bringing oxygen and nutrients to the area for healing. The colours give an indication* of what's going on in the area and can last anywhere from a couple of hours right up to 10 days depending on the colour and person.

Well that was the longest month EVER! 😂

Happy last day of January 🎉🥳 and of all the days, it's a Friday too! We've done it guys. We've survived January and made it to the first payday after Christmas 💪🏻 We're on the countdown to Spring, warmer weather and lighter nights 🫶🏻
