Becky has been part of the studio since 2018, and her classes are the perfect mix of expert teaching and a completely relaxed, welcoming vibe.

With over 200 hours of training across Vinyasa, Yin, Aerial and Ashtanga Yoga, you’re in very safe hands… but don’t expect anything too serious.

A little snapshot from our Intermediate Pilates class in Saltburn 🧘‍♀️

This class is designed to offer a brilliant full-body workout, with a focus on flowing, controlled movements that challenge strength, stability and coordination.

Sessions often include classical matwork sequences alongside equipment such as weights, foam rollers, stability balls and thera bands, keeping every class varied and engaging.

This class is ideal if you’ve already learned the basics of Pilates matwork and are injury free, and you’re ready to progress your practice a little further.

A little look inside our Monday 5:45pm Intermediate Pilates class ✨

This class is perfect for those who have already mastered the basics of Pilates and are ready to take things to the next level.

The pace is slightly faster than our beginner sessions, with exercises flowing from one movement to the next to create a challenging full-body workout that builds both strength and flexibility.

Because we don’t spend much time revisiting the basics, we recommend attending at least 6 beginner Pilates classes beforehand (either at our studio or another) before joining this class.

✨ 1:1 Pilates & Yoga Sessions

Whether you’re completely new to Pilates or Yoga, returning to exercise after some time away, or simply wanting to build confidence with the movements, a 1:1 session is the perfect place to start. Working at your own pace allows you to properly learn the technique and feel comfortable with the exercises.

If you already attend classes and want to progress further and see results faster, 1:1 sessions are also a great option. With personalised guidance from an expert teacher, you can focus on your specific goals and really feel the benefits.

Sessions are completely tailored to you and arranged on days and times that suit your schedule.

✨ New 1:1 spaces are opening from May and can be booked as single sessions, or in blocks of 5 or 10.

Our Pilates Retreat at The Tree, Rosedale (15–17 May 2026) is almost fully booked - with just one place left.

Set in the heart of the North York Moors, this weekend retreat is all about switching off, slowing down and taking time for yourself. Across three days you’ll enjoy gentle stretch classes, Pilates workshops, meditation, sound baths and incredible vegetarian food, all in the most peaceful countryside setting.

There will also be time to relax in the outdoor hot tub, enjoy the sauna, or treat yourself to a massage or treatment.

Includes accommodation in a twin room, all meals, Pilates sessions, meditation and use of the facilities.

All sessions are beginner-friendly, so the retreat is suitable for all ages and abilities - just come ready to move, breathe and recharge.

✨ Meet Sophie ✨

Sophie has been coming to the Saltburn studio for around three years, combining 1:1 reformer sessions with our Intermediate Pilates matwork class.

She’s incredibly active - surfing, mountain biking and keeping generally sporty - so Pilates plays a big role in helping her build strength, improve endurance and manage the occasional niggles that come with an active lifestyle.

In today’s session we focused on lower body strength and mobility, getting her ready for an upcoming biking holiday she’s training for.

Sophie also joins the Intermediate Pilates class on Mondays at 5:45pm, giving her a great mix of reformer work and mat-based Pilates.

If you’ve been curious about trying reformer Pilates, we’ll have 1:1 reformer availability from May onwards.

We also have spaces in the Monday 5:45pm Intermediate Pilates class.

Studio 21 is a Pilates, Yoga, and Movement Studio. The first studio opened in Yarm in 2010 and the newest studio opened in Saltburn-by-the-Sea in February 2019. We have classes to suit all ages and abilities.
