Cuppa Care Project

Originally initiated by the Rotary Club of Norwich, the Cuppa Care Project has been developed and led by Hear for Norfolk, and is delivered by a partnership of local organisations working jointly towards bringing people together and tackling loneliness that may be caused through poverty, disability, age, gender, lack of accessible local support and information services, geographical remoteness, poor transport or other issues.

Loneliness is a problem that goes beyond a painful emotional experience. Research shows that loneliness and social isolation are harmful to our health. As well as being harmful, loneliness is also very common.

The Cuppa Care Project visits towns and villages across Norfolk on a rotational and regular basis.

You will see from the timetable that the Cuppa Care Project bus will be visiting the Market Place in Great Yarmouth between 1-3pm on 20th April, 18th May, 15th June, 20th July, 17th August and 21st September.

Whether you just want to get out of the house, meet new people, chat about something that's worrying you or get information, advice or practical support - we have a friendly people on board our Cuppa Care bus who can help.

Young Peoples Patient Participation Group (YP-PPG)

Launching: 18 February 2026

East Norfolk Medical Practice is pleased to introduce a Youth Patient Participation Group (PPG), starting on 18 February 2026, facilitated by Sophie Flack.
The Young Peoples PPG is open to patients aged 16–25 and provides an opportunity for young people to share their views, experiences, and ideas about the services we provide. The group aims to ensure that the voices of young patients are heard and to help shape improvements in care, communication, and overall patient experience at the Practice.
Purpose of the YP-PPG
• To provide a forum for young patients to express their views and experiences
• To act as a link between the Practice and its younger patient population
• To support the development and improvement of services and communication
• To help ensure services meet the needs of young people
Interested in joining?
If you would like to take part, please email sophie.flack@nhs.net by Friday 6 February 2026.
We welcome your involvement and look forward to working together to improve our services for young patients.

But smoking is still the leading cause of preventable illness and death, with around 75,000 people in the UK dying from smoking each year.

If you’re thinking about quitting, you don’t have to do it alone — local Stop Smoking Services can make you three times more likely to succeed.
