Our residents made some wishes to go on our wishing tree a few days ago. Today our beautiful R.H had her wish granted.
She wished someone would bring her chocolates and flowers. R.H felt nobody had given her flowers in such a long time.
To see the smile on her face by granting her wish was well worth it.

Today we played a game of skill but nerves of steel were needed to pull those straws out without dropping the marbles.🤣🤣🤣
Our ladies kept holding their breath, when the marbles fell we all jumped as they crashed into the base.
This game ( Kerplunk) is new to a lot of our residents. They thought it was brilliant and can’t wait to play it again.

Happy National Elf Day.

We had a lot of naughty elves visiting Stanshawes today. They got up to all sorts of mischief and raised a lot of laughter around the home.
As head elf, it’s was exhausting trying to keep them in line.
Maybe they’ll be better behaved next year. We hope 🤣🤣🤣

We had a lovely evening listening to the girl guides singing Christmas carols. Not one of our residents were without a tear in their eye. Thank you so much, Merry Christmas everyone 🤶🏻🎅🏼

Today is Monday Bingo Day. Our residents love playing bingo. They enjoy each other’s company and even help each other to make sure they don’t miss their numbers. Great camaraderi. Of course the thought of winning a bar of chocolate 🍫🍫has nothing to do with it !!!!🤣🤣🤣
