Good morning. Due to sickness in our GP team we are very short of available appointments today and therefore we will have to prioritise patients who have an urgent medical need for today.

Please remember that your local pharmacy can treat many minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, UTIs, skin conditions, ear infections etc.

With the recent increase in respiratory infections, we kindly ask that any patients experiencing cough, cold, flu-like or other respiratory symptoms wear a mask when attending the surgery.

If you do not have a mask, our reception team will be happy to provide one on request.

This week we say goodbye to Dr Timms who has been our wonderful locum covering maternity leave for the past year.

We have really enjoyed him being part of the team this past year and we will certainly miss having him around. Thank you Dr Timms!

In January we will be welcoming back Dr Martin on a Tuesday and Friday who will be returning from maternity leave.

Lately we have noticed a real increase in rude and disrespectful behaviour toward our practice staff. I want to remind everyone that these team members are here to help you, often under a lot of pressure, and they’re doing their best to make sure you get the care you need.

Please be patient, be kind, and remember that a little courtesy goes a long way. We are here to support you, and positive interactions make the experience better for everyone.

Thank you to those who treat our staff with respect, it truly makes a difference.

213 of these were not attended.
These could have been offered to other patients.

If you are unable to attend, please always cancel your appointment in advance.

Our much loved lead nurse Kerry, will soon be moving onto a new chapter in her career. She has been an incredible part of our practice team, bringing dedication, compassion and kindness to our patients and team. We know she will be sorely missed by many of you.

While we are sad to say goodbye, we are looking ahead to the future. We are now recruiting for a new Lead Practice Nurse to join our friendly team and continue delivering the high standard of patient care that Kerry has helped us to build.
