🟢A message to our patients🟢

Our much loved lead nurse Kerry, will soon be moving onto a new chapter in her career. She has been an incredible part of our practice team, bringing dedication, compassion and kindness to our patients and team. We know she will be sorely missed by many of you.

While we are sad to say goodbye, we are looking ahead to the future. We are now recruiting for a new Lead Practice Nurse to join our friendly team and continue delivering the high standard of patient care that Kerry has helped us to build.

We were extremely pleased to see that out of 77 GP Practices in the region, that Wellington Road has been placed in the top 10 based on patient satisfaction.

This is based on the results of the recent GP Patient Survey, whereby 89% of our respondents describe their overall experience of Wellington Road Family Practice as Good. This is higher than the national average, which is currently 75%

This result is testament to the hard work and continued dedication of the whole practice team.

We have been made aware of a national issue among several major landline and mobile network providers. This is affecting outbound calls to patients and automatic callbacks. This is intermittent currently and are staff are persisting in getting back to our patients.

This week we have launched our new appointments process, which is being received positively so far. If you are a patient of ours and haven't received the communication sent out this month about the changes, please get in touch or pop into the practice for a hard copy.

I'd kindly like to remind our patients that the new process means that we no longer release new appointments in the afternoon, and booking will be taking place all day. Therefore, if you need to be seen urgently, please complete your econsult in the morning if possible.
