📢We are currently receiving a high number of queries about the Meningitis B and Meningitis ACWY vaccines.

If you would like to check your vaccination status, you can do so by logging into the NHS App.

If you do not yet have access to your vaccination history, or you require an emailed copy of your records, please submit a request via eConsult on our website.

Please note that the Meningitis B vaccine was introduced to the routine childhood schedule in September 2015, and is only available to babies and children under 2 years old on the NHS.

Good morning. Due to sickness in our GP team we are very short of available appointments today and therefore we will have to prioritise patients who have an urgent medical need for today.

Please remember that your local pharmacy can treat many minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, UTIs, skin conditions, ear infections etc.

With the recent increase in respiratory infections, we kindly ask that any patients experiencing cough, cold, flu-like or other respiratory symptoms wear a mask when attending the surgery.

If you do not have a mask, our reception team will be happy to provide one on request.

This week we say goodbye to Dr Timms who has been our wonderful locum covering maternity leave for the past year.

We have really enjoyed him being part of the team this past year and we will certainly miss having him around. Thank you Dr Timms!

In January we will be welcoming back Dr Martin on a Tuesday and Friday who will be returning from maternity leave.
