📢Notice to Patients – New Prescriptions Team Office Hours 📢

From 1st April, we will be introducing dedicated Prescriptions Team 'office hours' to help patients with any queries or questions about their prescriptions.

During these times, you will be able to call and speak directly with a member of the Prescriptions Team without needing to go through Reception.

📞 Telephone lines will be open daily at the following times:

10:00am – 11:00am

1:00pm – 2:00pm

❗ Please note: We are unable to accept repeat prescription requests over the phone.

Repeat prescriptions must still be requested in the usual way - via eConsult, email, or the NHS App.

If you have already submitted a repeat prescription request, please allow 5 working days for this to be processed and issued.

If you are unable to call during the dedicated office hours, you can still contact the Prescriptions Team by:

We will be closed for the Easter Bank Holidays from 6.30pm on Thursday 2nd April until 8am on Tuesday 7th April.

Requests for repeat medication need to be submitted by tomorrow (27th March) to guarantee that they are issued and dispensed at your local pharmacy in time for the weekend.

📢We are currently receiving a high number of queries about the Meningitis B and Meningitis ACWY vaccines.

If you would like to check your vaccination status, you can do so by logging into the NHS App.

If you do not yet have access to your vaccination history, or you require an emailed copy of your records, please submit a request via eConsult on our website.

Please note that the Meningitis B vaccine was introduced to the routine childhood schedule in September 2015, and is only available to babies and children under 2 years old on the NHS.

Good morning. Due to sickness in our GP team we are very short of available appointments today and therefore we will have to prioritise patients who have an urgent medical need for today.

Please remember that your local pharmacy can treat many minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, UTIs, skin conditions, ear infections etc.
