A fun packed day in the big city 🇬🇧
A tour of St Paul’s Cathedral, exploring the depths of the impressive crypt where Nelson was laid to rest.
We climbed over 500 steps to the golden gallery and the views were so worth it! 👓
We definitely earnt ourselves a treat at and found two awesome gluten free bakery stalls to choose from and - yummo 😋
Finally, the reason for our trip, a holosomantic breathwork session from 🧘‍♀️
The atmosphere was incredible and we felt so light afterwards. There was chanting, tapping, releasing and setting of new intentions… all from the comfort of our seats 👌

We’re off to our 3rd bungee beginners class today 🎉
It’s a lot of fun, some chaffing and plenty of dangling in a heap connected to the ceiling 🤣

Looking forward to learning some new moves tonight - we especially like the ones where we get to fly through the air 🦸‍♀️

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has danced online with me this past year with Joyful Movement 💃

One thing I’ve learnt about retiring from Zumba is that dance is so important for our souls, health and mood!

Although I haven’t been able to connect in person with you (which I have missed so much), knowing that we have connected online in some way has been a huge help in the transition we’ve had in the past year with our move and saying goodbye to my awesome class members and zumba community 😢

The last opportunity to dance online (with your joyful living tribe login) is tomorrow before the website is no more on the 15th. This isn’t the end though, I know that some form of movement will be a part of my future and as soon as the house is more finished I can dedicate my time to that.

Hi tribe 👋
Well, the weather has been awful but we still had the best 24 hours on our annual festive night away to celebrate another year and make our plans for 2026!

We swam outdoors in the storm in the hotel pool, warmed up in the sauna and had an incredible massage at 💆‍♀️

We enjoyed a hotel bed picnic (aren’t they the best?!) and got out our flipchart and pens to talk about our goals for next year ✍️

Then, on the way home explored Great Malvern and stopped at the very quaint Stow on the Wold for high tea 🇬🇧
Finally, we had a drive through Bourton on the water to see the Christmas tree sat in the river Windrush which runs through the centre of the villlage🎄

It always feels like you can squeeze so much into a night away and it really does feel like a lovely break. Back to the DIY tomorrow but feeling refreshed and ready 💪🏼 💗

Hi lovely tribe 👋 Here’s our tiling progress and we are getting there with some great teamwork of adhesive application, laying, levelling and cutting.

Loving the pretty tones of the tiles as there are 4/5 slightly different shades of pearlescent pale pink 💗

There were some very fiddly cuts around the shower pipes, tap and niche to work out 🤦‍♀️ We had a few broken tiles, but luckily we bought spares 🙏

Hopefully, we should get them finished tomorrow before grouting ready for the fit out 🤞🏻

Why are coving angles so tricky to figure out?? 🤨

Maybe it’s because none of the walls are straight? 🤦‍♀️

We’ve just got coving and skirting to fit and the living room is practically done 🙏🎉

We’ve slowed down a lot with the DIY, but are still trying to do a little something each day. Apparently Christmas and new year is a busy time for home improvements! Have you got anything planned? 🛠️

It’s taking shape!! Next step is to actually decide on some bathroom tiles 🤦‍♀️
There are so many beautiful tiles and colours out there, it’s hard to make a decision. They definitely will be a shade of white or pink though 💗 We wanted our family bathroom to be a light and bright space that felt soft and feminine 🌸

We chose a “L” shaped bath which extends to 85 cms to give too more of a shower cubicle feel at one end as we love our showers too! 🚿

Todays DIY job is ripping up the hallway stair carpet… those carpet grippers are lethal though!! 📌

Will the painting ever end?? 🫟

Why is choosing a colour so hard? We’ve had to make a lot of decisions in this house before we moved in and some have worked, but others definitely didn’t! Now that we are living in the house and experiencing how colours and patterns look in the light and make us feel, we’re making some tweaks 🫣
