Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) provide a range of free specialist care, treatment and support to people of all ages, whatever their s*x, s*xual orientation or gender identity. This includes; immediate emotional support, medical and forensic examinations, emergency contraception, and testing and assessment for s*xually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV.

They can also arrange referrals to s*xual health, mental health and s*xual violence services as well as support from an independent s*xual violence advisor.

North Hampshire Urgent Care (NHUC) provides out of hours urgent medical care for people who are feeling unwell and are not able to see their own doctor because the surgery is closed.

If you require urgent medical advice or treatment please call NHS 111 and your problem will be assessed by trained call handlers who will advise you on the best course of action to get the appropriate help you need.

💧 Avoid floodwater where possible – it may contain sewage or chemicals.
🧼 Wash hands regularly, especially before eating and after contact with floodwater or damaged items
🏠 Clean and disinfect your home once floodwater recedes – wear gloves and protective clothing during clean‑up
🧠 Look after your wellbeing – it’s normal to feel overwhelmed

Children under 6 are now being offered the MMRV vaccine instead of MMR as part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme.

This replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.

Vaccination is the best way to reduce the risk of serious illness and protect children as they grow.

You don’t need to do anything — your surgery will contact you when your child is due their appointment.
