Hugh worked for 5 years with disabled children and adolescents before going to university to read Biochemistry (BSc Hons), after completion he took a research post at Kings College (Analytical Pharmacology) researching muscarinic receptors in smooth muscle of the bowel in conjunction with reading Molecular Biology and General Biochemistry (MSc). In 2000 he went to the AECC (Anglo-European College

of Chiropractic) to read for his Chiropractic degree, after graduation in 2004 he started work at the Redditch Chiropractic Clinic. Hugh hobbies include badminton and walking his dogs George and Lottie. As a member of the chiropractic profession there is a requirement to be registered to the General Chiropractic Council. This is the regulatory body of the profession. To maintain registration there is a requirement to undertake Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses. This enables Hugh to keep up to date with the latest clinical research and further develop his skills & techniques within specialist fields. Hugh has an in depth knowledge of the human body and understanding of how it functions. He treats the body as a whole unit to find the underlying cause of the problem, rather than treating specific isolated areas.
