- We love fixing our patient’s feet 🤣

“Over the moon with the service, an extremely wonderful job. I’ve been going to chiropodist for years, and the problem has never actually been solved, I’ve been 3 times here, and every time there is a great improvement.”

Katri found relief for her hip pain with FootBalance custom insoles👣

“I’ve suffered from on-and-off hip pain for years. The pain has certainly prevented me from doing activities I enjoy, and when the inflammation is at its worst, all inclines are very painful. I’ve been to chiropractors and massage therapists, and the pain does get better for a while, but it always comes back.

I got my first FootBalance custom insoles a little over a year ago, and soon after putting them in my shoes, I could feel the difference.”

Morton’s neuroma >

Morton’s neuroma is where there’s a thickening of tissue around a nerve in your foot that’s been irritated or damaged.

The main symptoms of Morton’s neuroma include:

1. A shooting, stabbing or burning pain between your 3rd and 4th toes
2. Feeling like a pebble or lump is stuck under your foot

Some people may also have tingling or numbness in their foot.

The symptoms may be worse when you move your foot or wear tight or high-heeled shoes. It often gets worse over time.

Treatments from a foot specialist may include:

1. Specially made soft pads or insoles – to take pressure off the painful area of your foot
2. Steroid or alcohol injections, or foot surgery – if you have very severe symptoms or other treatments are not working

5 At-Risk Groups Who Can Benefit from a Visit to All About Feet

🍼 Pregnant Women:
Pregnancy brings changes to the body that can significantly affect the feet. The increased abdominal volume alters a woman’s gait and balance. Weight gain and water retention further contribute to discomfort. Our podiatrists at All About Feet offer solutions to help keep your feet comfortable throughout your pregnancy.

🔎 People with Diabetes:
Diabetes can lead to complications such as nerve damage (neuropathy) and arterial blockage (peripheral arterial disease). These conditions can cause serious infections and, if left untreated, may result in limb amputation. We strongly recommend that individuals with diabetes visit us regularly for a comprehensive foot checkup to prevent these severe outcomes.

👵 Grandparents:
As we age, our feet accumulate wear and tear, making them more susceptible to problems. Older adults often experience issues like bunions, fallen arches, corns, calluses, hammertoes, and thick toenails that are difficult to trim. These conditions can lead to pain and an increased risk of falling. Our podiatrists provide effective treatments to address these common concerns.

🧸 Children:
Children who struggle with walking or are hesitant to participate in sports should have their feet examined. We welcome young patients with common foot issues such as warts, ingrown toenails, and sports injuries. At All About Feet, we ensure that your child’s feet are healthy and pain-free.

🏀 Athletes:
Whether you’re new to a sport or a seasoned athlete, it’s essential to maintain healthy feet. New athletes should have a full foot and ankle exam to identify potential issues that could lead to injuries. Established athletes can benefit from our treatments for recurring blisters, heel pain, and other sports-related injuries. Let us help you stay active and injury-free.

As kids head back to school, their feet work harder than ever - Healthy feet mean happy, active kids! 🦶✨

✅ Top Tips for Little Feet:

👟 Check shoe size — growing feet need room (about a thumb’s width at the toe).
🧦 Always choose breathable socks to prevent blisters & odours.
🏃‍♀️ Look for supportive shoes with cushioning for active days.
🔍 Keep an eye out for signs of pain, uneven shoe wear, or frequent tripping.

🦶 Why Regular Podiatry Check-Ups Are Essential 🦶

Your feet are the foundation of your body, supporting you every step of the way. Yet, they’re often the most neglected part of your health routine. At All About Feet, we believe in the importance of keeping your feet in top shape through regular check-ups. Here’s why:

1️⃣ Early Detection: Regular visits help catch issues like bunions, corns, or nail infections before they become serious problems.

2️⃣ Pain Management: Suffering from foot pain? We can diagnose and treat it early, preventing long-term discomfort.

3️⃣ Preventative Care: Keep common conditions like plantar fasciitis, flat feet, and diabetic foot complications at bay with routine care.

4️⃣ Customised Advice: Whether you’re an athlete, on your feet all day, or just want to maintain healthy feet, our tailored advice keeps you moving comfortably.

Thank you to a lovely patient ☀️

“They have 2 parking spaces in front or large car park adjacent. Entrance hallway can get crowded but that’s offset by very friendly atmosphere and staff. Once you are assigned to one of the girls then your regular care is ongoing, consistent and professional. Highly recommend.”
