It was elf day today, where we were raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. Everyone joined in the fun and wore their elf hats. A fantastic £204 was raised, thanks to all those who contributed to this special cause 🥰

Thanks to everyone who supported our Christmas Fun Day! It was a great success, with over £500 raised towards the residents social fund. A big thanks goes to the social committee who worked really hard making Christmas crafts for the stalls. Thanks also to the other stall holders and S J’s Pantry for the festive food that was on offer 😋

What a spooktacular Halloween party! 👻 Everyone made a fantastic effort with their costumes! The music was spot on, thanks to Nicola, and S J’s Pantry once again provided a delicious three course meal 😋

“Wear it Pink Day” - Raising funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Week, accompanied by Guide Dogs for the blind. Residents joined in with the fun and turned the room pink! Thanks to all those who came and donated for this very worthy cause, we raised a whopping £200! 🩷

A fabulous time was had by all at our lovely residents 80th birthday party. Prosecco and cake got the party started and Nicola managed to get them up on the dance floor, as always! 🎉🎂🍾🥂💃🏻🕺🏽

5 years ago this week Strawberry Garden’s opened for business, right in the middle of a Covid lockdown! Somehow we managed to move people in safely and here we are 5 years down the line celebrating that very first day! Thanks to Ukebox for fabulous entertainment, as always, and to the residents social committee and staff who ensured the party was a great success. Also, a big thanks to S J’s Pantry for the amazing buffet! 😋 Here’s to the next 5 years! 🎂🥳🍾🥂🎉

We had a fantastic turnout for our MacMillan coffee morning and we are thrilled to report that we raised a massive £310 for this fabulous charity. Thanks to all who supported this event, to those who made cakes, to a residents family member for the raffle prizes and to all staff who worked really hard to make this such a successful morning 🥰
