A huge congratulations to Alex and Kirsty!
Alex noticed that some groceries at client RBM’s home could have gone to waste, so she put them to good use and made a delicious soup — which RBM absolutely loved.
Meanwhile, Kirsty recognised GL’s passion for baking and encouraged her back into the kitchen, supporting her to make a wonderful batch of scones.

Not long ago, our Care Pro Kirsty supported one of our lovely clients GL in bringing her passion for baking back to life — something she hasn’t done in a while but has always loved. GL’s kitchen is filled with baking tools and memories, and it was wonderful to see it all being used again.

From noticing her passion and confidence in the kitchen, Kirsty gently guided and encouraged GL through each step. GL weighed the ingredients, rubbed the mixture together, rolled out the dough, cut the scones, glazed them and baked them to perfection. The whole house smelled incredible!

Afterwards, they even enjoyed a gentle walk to the shop to pick up some clotted cream — the perfect finishing touch.

A huge shout-out to Kirsty for going above and beyond to create such a meaningful moment. And thanks to our personalised matching process, GL and Kirsty have built a genuine connection that makes days like this possible.
