It’s official! We are moving to the New audiology department in The Yeovil Diagnostic Centre. Please don’t come to outpatient ‘cause we’re not gonna be here 😿
Hope to see everybody in our fancy new department. It really is lovely and so nice to have proper soundproof rooms after nearly 40 years of being in main outpatients.
PS don’t worry - this Saturday’s clinics will still be running in this room in OPD - The grand finale is at the end of the Saturday clinic, that will be the final official goodbye🥰

We are urgently looking for volunteers in certain areas of the UK who can help us train the next generation of hearing dogs.

Here are 5 useful things to know about becoming a volunteer dog trainer:

1. You don’t need experience as each of our volunteers are fully trained and supported by one of our local dog training instructors.

2. We cover all costs for things like food, bedding, insurance, vets etc.

3. We arrange and provide all holiday cover for the pup when you want to go away.

4. You’ll attend fun weekly puppy classes and meet likeminded people

5. You’ll change a deaf person’s life.

The role is perfect for people who are retired or who might have time at home. We are unable to accept applications from people who work full time, due to the amount of time needed to train a young dog to become a hearing dog.
