Feeling sick with vomiting or diarrhoea? It could be norovirus. Please stay at home until you’ve been symptom-free for 48 hours — hospitals and GP surgeries can’t treat norovirus and it spreads quickly. Rest, rehydrate, and help protect others. Call 111 if you are concerned about your symptoms.

Reading real-life stories about bowel cancer can bring comfort, reassurance, and understanding.

Our storytellers play a vital role in offering support and hope to others, while also raising awareness. We’re incredibly grateful for their openness and generosity in helping others feel less alone.

We currently need more stories from people who:
• have been diagnosed after seeing our awareness work, like Tell Your GP Instead, symptoms information on loo roll packaging as part of , or our awareness roadshows
• are from minority ethnic backgrounds
• have experienced bowel cancer in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales
• were diagnosed after taking part in the screening programme
• delayed visiting their GP
• were diagnosed in an emergency setting, like A&E
• are a loved one of someone with bowel cancer

Your story could help save lives, and we’d be honoured to share it. To submit your story go to https://bit.ly/2VV0JDR

🌍 Next Wednesday is World Cancer Day 💙🧡
There are lots of events happening locally to raise awareness, support our community, and inspire action. If you can, take a moment to get involved—whether it's attending an event, sharing information, or checking in on someone affected by cancer.💛
