Allow me to re-introduce myself 😘
There has been an influx of new followers and interactions over the past month. So first off; hello, I’m so happy you’re here!
You already know my name, but here is a few things you might not know yet:
I moved over from Norway 10 years ago to study music and theatre, got me a BA and I’ve never used it since.
Before I was a PT I worked as a chef/pastry chef, then I met my husband and we had 🧸 🫶
I did my pt certificate when on maternity leave, qualified on the day the gyms shut (yay, lockdown…..) and spent lockdown doing my pre and post natal qualifications, as well as mental health and nutrition.
You might see my post pop up with some references to my own underlying health conditions.
To name a few:
Raging ADHD
hEDS/HDS
- as my coach puts it, I got my connective tissue and ligaments from Wish.. held together by tape, hopes and dreams.
POTS
- you know when you stand up too quickly and you see stars, it’s like that, but extreme.
IBS 💩
Generalised anxiety and panic disorder
- first time I stepped into an Olympic weightlifting class I cried. Good times..
And I live with chronic pain, so yeah.. that’s to name a few 💁♀️
In my coaching I specialise in making fitness and weight lifting accessible to EVERYONE.
There will always be a huge focus on mental health and how that feeds into your performance and feeling of self worth.
If we give our brains the same love and care as we’re encouraged to give our bodies, we will become unstoppable!
So hi, it was nice to meet you!
Now let’s go lift something 🫶
