We had such a wonderful day out at Westlands Yeovil attending the BSO Cake Concert 🎶🍰

It truly was a fantastic experience for everyone, and especially meaningful for our residents living with dementia. Music has such an incredible power, it brings back memories, lifts spirits, and creates moments of pure joy that words often can’t.

We were so proud to see our residents engaged, smiling, and even wistling along. Days like this remind us just how important inclusive events like are.

A huge thank you to Westlands for organising such a thoughtful and accessible event. It means so much to have opportunities like this that are suitable and welcoming for those living with dementia 💙

We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming some lovely children from Yeovil College Nursery to our nursing home. 💛

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed watching the children play and had great fun getting involved in a game or two of Buckaroo, there were lots of laughs all around! 🐴

Some of our residents also spent time reading stories to the children, which everyone really loved. It was such a special moment seeing the generations come together, sharing smiles, laughter, and stories. 📚✨

Thank you to Yeovil College Nursery for visiting us and brightening our day. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

What another wonderful adventure we had yesterday! 🎬

Our lovely residents enjoyed a trip to Cineworld Yeovil to watch Wuthering Heights 🍿

But the fun didn't stop there.. The residents decided they wanted to try something a little different, so off we went to Nando's! 🥙 And we are pleased to report, they absolutely loved it!

Even better, we had a right laugh tying the wheelchairs together to go from one place to the next, who said you need loads of people to push? Teamwork makes the dream work! 😂

We're so proud to keep creating new experiences, trying new things and most importantly, making memories together. 🩷

✈️ A High-Flying day Out! 🛫

Today we took some of our wonderful residents on a trip to the incredible Fleet Air Arm Museum and what a fantastic day it was!

Our residents had a brilliant time... although we have a sneak suspicion our staff may have enjoyed it even more! 😂

A huge thank you to the team at Ivelhurst for making the day so special and to the fleet staff for such a warm welcome. We are already planning our nect trip back!

🚐✨This week's mini bus adventures! ✨🚐

What a fantastic week of outings we've had with our residents! From soaking up the atmosphere at Glastonbury, enjoying a spot of bowling at Hollywood Bowl UK, exploring the incredible Haynes Motor Museum and finishing off with a lovely pub lunch at The Arrow-Yeovil.

We are so lucky to have access to our A&S mini bus and we truly pride ourselves on the wide range of trips and experiences we're able to offer. Most importantly, we have such fun along the way, lots of smiles, laughter and special moments shared together 🩵

Oh yes we did! 🎭✨

Our residents had an amazing time at this years panto, Beauty and the Beast. There was so much laughter, singing and shouting along.

✨🎄 What a day to remember 🎄✨

Last weeks Christmas Party was truly amazing! We had the best time celebrating together with great live music, delicious food and plenty of flowing drinks, who remembers the snowballs? ❄️🍹 they were an absolute hit!

We also had a brilliant quiz, brought to us by Ivelhursts own naughty elves and a fun raffle which raised our residents an incredible £100. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.

Last week, we took some time to celebrate the incredible team that keeps our home running with so much heart 💛

Our staff enjoyed a full week of well being treats, fromm nail pampering sessions and 'find the ducks' competition to a special breakfast and our very own award ceremony. 🦆💅🏆

We truly are blessed with an amazing team. Without their dedication, compassion and hard work we wouldn't be the wonderful home we are today.

This was just a small token of our appreciation but our gratitude is HUGE. Thank you to every member of our team for everything you do, every single day. 💛

We were absolutely delighted to welcome The Dance Factory into our home last weekend! Their beautiful performance filled our lounge with music, smiles and happy tears.

Our residents were truly moved by the talent, energy and kindness shown by every dancer. Moments like these mean so much and we can't thank them enough for giving up their time to bring joy to us all. ❤️

💛Celebrating Children In Need with Pudsey Biscuit Fun!💛

Today our lovely residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative! 🍪 We spent the morning making Pudsey Bear biscuits and decorating them with lots of colour, sprinkles and plenty of smiles. 🐻
