A huge thank you to Madjeston Milk Station for visiting our home today! 🐥🐰💛

After another company let us down several times, our residents were so eager to finally meet some furry and feathered friends! And Madjeston did not disappoint! The joy on everyones faces said it all. So many smiles, so much laughter and memories we'll cherish for a long time.

We're so grateful for the care and kindness you showed to our residents and the wonderful animals you brought along. You made their day truly special! 🌟

🌸✨Flower Arranging Fun ✨🌸

What better way to brighten up a gloomy day than with flowers? 🌼 Our residents had a wonderful time arranging blooms of all colours and scents, filling the room with beauty and cheer.

As we worked with the flowers, conversation bloomed too, from naming each variety, to sharing gardening tips and even reminiscing about wedding bouquets. 💐💞

It truly lifted our spirits and brought sunshine indoors! ☀️

🏅☀️ Sports Day & BBQ Fun ☀️🏅

What an amazing day we had here at Ivelhurst! From lively games to a delicious BBQ, the laughter never stopped. The highlight? Our dress up relay, we don't think we've laughed so hard in ages! 👒🕶👕

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came and made it such a memorable day! From upbeat music to the delicious food and flowing drinks, it was nothing short of a fantastic celebration, but the best part? Seeing our residents laughing, dancing and truly having FUN! 💃

This is Eduard, our maintenance man who keeps everything running smoothly around here, from daily repairs to special projects that help keep our home comfortable and welcoming for everyone 🛠💙

Each month, we are blessed to welcome Holy Communion into our home, a simple but profound offering that brings peace, reflection and deep comfort to our residents.

This morning, it was especially meaningful as communion was shared with our dear John, who is nearing the end of his earthly journey. In that quiet, sacred moment there was a sense of peace that filled the room, one that gently wrapped itself around John and his loving family.

We're grateful for the presence of Holy communion in our home and for the light it brings during the most tender times. Please keep John and his family in your thought and prayers 💙

There’s nothing like the power of music! 🎵

It brings the best energy, lifts our spirits and turns any moment into a celebration.
Whether it’s a lively sing along, or a spontaneous dance in the lounge, music fills our halls with energy, smiles and shared memories.

It’s incredible to see how a favourite tune can spark a story, a laugh, or a moment of pure happiness. Music is more than just entertainment, it’s a beautiful part of how we can celebrate life together.

🍾 Celebrating Frances: Seaside smiles and birthday magic. 🏖

This week we celebrated Frances birthday with a trip to the seaside with her friend Jean. Frances made one request - a trip to the seaside, rain or shine! So off we went, ready for anything... and were gifted the most beautiful sunny day.

We had chips by the sea, ice cream that melted too fast and lots of laughter (mostly thanks to Francis's quick wit and that mischievous smile.) She's as cheeky as she is lovable and days like this remind us just how lucky we are to have her.

Happy Birthday Frances. Here's to more sunshine, silliness and sweet moments!
