🌊🐚☀️ Seaside Day at home! ☀️🐚🌊

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled seaside-themed day complete with traditional fish & chips, real-life sandcastle building, and beautiful decorations that brought the beach right to us! 🏖️🧂🍟

It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and seaside memories — without the long journey! 💙

🎉🎂💐 Yesterday we had the joy of celebrating the incredible milestone of Peggy’s 105th birthday! 🎉💐 Surrounded by family who travelled from Wincanton, Devon, London, and even Berlin, it was truly a day to remember.

We were also honoured to welcome the Mayor of Yeovil and his wife, who joined us in marking this special occasion. ✨

With beautiful decorations, a delicious cake, a plentiful buffet, and lots of laughter, it was a day filled with love, joy, and cherished memories for Peggy, her family, and all our staff. 💖

Gemma and Clare were at Westlands Yeovil today to get the celebrations started!

Thanks to everyone who popped by, said hi, and picked up a colouring sheet for their little ones to enter the Cooksons Court Anniversary Competition!

🌊 🍦🐟 We had a lovely trip to Weymouth with our residents – full of smiles, chats, and seaside charm! ☁️⛱️

Despite the cloudy weather, we enjoyed the beautiful sights, the beach, fish & chips, and of course, ice cream on the seafront! A wonderful day had by all. 😊

On Tuesday morning, we enjoyed a beautiful, calming, and therapeutic session with flowers - and the results were simply stunning! 💐✨

Our residents spent time arranging fresh blooms, bringing colour and joy to both the shared spaces around the home and their own rooms. It was a fantastic morning full of smiles, creativity, and lovely conversation. 📸🌷
