Compton View Care Home Assisted living facility for the elderly. The best little care home in the South West. Yeovil Care Set in a quiet residential area of Yeovil, Somerset.

Compton View is a ‘home from home’ environment where our residents can feel safe and secure with the freedom to live as they wish. We strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of our residents. All of our staff are appropriately qualified to ensure that we deliver the highest standards of care. Staff undergo continuous training and development of their skills and exper

ience to ensure that we maintain these standards at all times. This lovely Victorian house retains many of it's charming original features. Each room is individually decorated to a modern standard and fifteen of the seventeen rooms have en-suite facilities. Compton View has the benefit of great views out over the countryside, as well as the football field at Bucklers Mead where there's usually a game going on, whatever the weather. Our Somerset elderly care home is also perfectly situated for the town, post office and local shops which we visit on our daily walks and strolls.

We would like to congratulate Compton View Care Home’s, Kim Retter, on her recent win at The Leading Women in Care Awards ceremony, Kim won the "Leader of the Future" award 👏🥳
Kim says – “My inspiration for the care sector started over thirty years ago when l was looking for part time work as l had two small sons. I stumbled into care and never looked back, raving about the shift from the minute l got home.
I worked my way from care assistant to middle management before achieving my manager’s position. My belief is that on entering a home the resident starts another chapter within their life. I feel it’s time to make lasting memories for not only the residents but their families too. l am driven by making every second count.
We grant wishes and have a great relationship with the wider community; all families are encouraged to join in with all events. We celebrate life knowing we had the pleasure of supporting the residents in their final days. There are no sad songs- we sing ‘YMCA’, ‘Hokey Cokey’, and ‘You are my sunshine’.”
