We are saddened to hear of the events regarding a coach of school children being involved in an incident in West Somerset yesterday.

Our thoughts are with all those effected - children, parents, families, teachers and all the emergency services involved 💚

We’re out and about this weekend with training and events!!

Today and tomorrow we have a team of 2x medics on hand to at Martock Rovers annual football tournament- alongside our good friends at Cow & Apple.

Also we have a trainer in Cannington delivering a blended Paediatric First Aid course - and we’re jealous… they’ve got air conditioning!!!

Sunday we also we be sending 2x medics to attend the annual Summer Fayre at Poundbury being run by Age UK North, South & West Dorset. A great event with performances and entertainment.

Don’t forget you’re sun cream, your water bottle and hat ☀️🕶️🥵

So less than one hour to go before we find out if we’re working again on Boxing Day 🤣🤣.

In all seriousness, we’re pleased that Yeovil Town FC have chosen us again to provide the medical cover for crowd for the upcoming season. Working alongside their existing staff, this will be our 3rd full season with the club and we’re looking forward to seeing how the team perform - and making sure everyone goes home after a game

This week we’ve had the privilege of training x29 people in a variety of first aid courses, including Emergency First Aid, Basic Life Support and Blended First Aid at Work! Most of that has been at customer premises in Yeovil and our adopted home of Yeovil Town FC but we did venture out to Henstridge too!

But right now we have a team of 2x medics at Yeovil Town Council’s Super Saturday, with lots of activities free for children and plenty of music by local performers. We’re here till 4pm so pop and say hello if you’re in Yeovil!

And we've left this fantastic review until now. Steve recently attend a requalification of his First Aid at Work course, and on the QT said this was his 8th renewal. That's what makes this review all the more special - we think this speaks for itself

It’s been another great day at Ilchester Youth FC Tournament with 2x medics attending all day. A bit cooler and a bit windier but the action hasn’t disappointed- well done to all the teams.

A quick shout out to our next door neighbours Cow & Apple and Alfies ices - thanks for the food, very much appreciated 👍

Today we’ve had a team of 2x medics on duty at Ilchester Youth Football Club Official Group’s mixed football tournament. A very very warm day but plenty of water and sun lotion has paid dividends. Looking forward to more of the same tomorrow and the forecast is cooler which will be nice

It's the happiest time of the week - Feedback Friday! 🎉

This week we're featuring comments left by Joanne who completed their Emergency First Aid at Work course with us at Hestercombe House in Taunton. Each learner has their own tyle of learning and ensuring tht our trainers are communicating in a way that each learner can understand a relate to is vitual to happy learners - even if the question is "why"!

These kits are a lifesaving resource and it’s great to be able to see these being installed in our local area.

We’re currently putting together a course whereby current and valid first aiders can be taught on these as part of their annual refresher, we’ll keep you up to date as we go and announce training dates soon

Today we have a team of 2x Emergency First Responders at ilchester_fc’s girls youth tournament. A bit windy but the sun is shining and being placed between the ice cream van and Cow & Apple is dangerously for us 🤣🤣. Good luck to all the teams today
