Hi, my name is Paula and here at Green Yoga Crow we practice yoga for children and adults in and around Somerset.

We move, laugh, breathe, connect and find a little space and stillness for ourselves so that we can live our best lives.

Come join us for the last classes of this year, as we embrace change and honour natures rhythm. The Winter Soltice is almost upon us and Christmas too. This is a time for deep rest in amidst the chaos! Time to carve out a little pocket of space for yourself to come home to yourself. Tonight’s class at Merriott Village Hall is at 7:30pm and tomorrow morning at 9:30am. Paula x

No adult yoga classes this week over the half term holiday...so if any of you lovely lot turn up...The Kings Head on Church Street is open on Thursday night and the Feed Station is open on Friday mornings...go grab a drink and a little time just for you! I'll be rolling out my mat wherever I am and hope you do too (well maybe not in the pub or the cafe🤣). See you all very soon. Paula x

JOY JOY JOY!!! Says it all. I feel so damn blessed to have yoga in my life. To all my teachers (Carolyne Kardia, Louise Byford, Hayley Giles and Andrew Wrenn) thank you for sharing your wisdom so freely with me. And to all my students, thank you so much for entrusting me with this role of 'teacher' and allowing me to pass on this beautiful, ancient, joyous practice of yoga with you all. Last week's class was called Joy, this week was Joy part 2...next week, wait for it...Joy part 3! May you all be filled with quiet joy.

First of the yoga sessions for children started today…so many funnies when you work with children! Today as I took my hair out of its clip to rest in Savasana at the end of the class, the little girl sat next to me looked in awe at my hair and said ‘Paula! Your hair is CRAZY!’ 🤣Well she’s not wrong there!🤣 Love a child’s unfiltered honesty. Adult class tonight…let’s ease ourselves back in after a summer break. Come as you are, crazy hair welcome 🥰

Back to school! And so we are back to our mats this week too for our shared yoga practice. E-mails have gone out, so if you haven't received it, check your spam and promotions folders and if it's in there, pull it over to 'Primary' so you don't miss e-mails. Can't wait to see all your gorgeous faces again.

And if you are new to yoga and would like to give it a whirl and join us, just get in touch. Time dedicated to yourself for an hour and a bit every week is never time wasted. You deserve it.

This time next week we will be meeting again for our shared practice of yoga🎉❤️. It’s been a long summer of sunshine and now there is definitely a shift in the energy of the land…not quite autumn, not quite summer. A feeling in the air of change. After two weeks on the Isle of Anglesey, spending time with loved ones and connecting to some gorgeous yoga teachers here, (Gayle Hamer and Chanel Rushe thank you!) I’m so ready to bring our community back together for our weekly meets and hold that space for you all once more. Sept 4th -Thursday nights 7:30-8:45pm and Sept 5th - Fri mornings 9:30-10:45am with Friday morning Chair Yoga starting on the Friday 26th September. I’ve missed you all! I have EXCITING news!!! For months I have been working away in the background on something that I know is needed. It is now ready and launched. For all those children and families that have loved having yoga as part of your child's week, every week in schools and nurseries....

The Family morning of yoga, storytelling, art and nature was a fabulous time of fun and connection. I have had many messages asking when this is happening again. So I shall set up a waiting list and let those that have asked, know when the next one will be. Paula x

And it's a wrap! The final school, nursery and pre-school classes happened today and have come to an end for the Summer holidays. A huge thank you to all the local settings that have asked me to share yoga with thousands of children this academic year. It's been such fun and warms my heart to hear of all the children that go home talking about the sessions and sharing them with their families, knowing that the tools of yoga will make a difference in their lives. Happy Summer to all the incredible teachers, support staff and Head teachers-enjoy your hard earned break. To all the staff keeping on going through the summer in the nurseries and childcare settings, I salute you! Sending love to all, Paula ###

So many people have been asking me for this for a while now...Family Yoga Morning collaborating with a fabulous local Children's Author...19th July at Merriott Village Hall - 10am until 12:30pm. Spaces will be limited...There will only be 20 spaces available (the adults don't count as a space, only the children). If you would like to come along with your child/children, bag your spot now. This will be a beautiful morning of connection, laughter and joy. Yoga, Story telling, Art and Nature. For children aged 3 to 9 ish 🤩

Mid Summer is almost here...A time to celebrate and to take our time to lie in the grass, close our eyes a moment or two and to take a breath. A time to focus on the light and the energy it reveals. Come along and join us tonight (7:30pm) and tomorrow (9:30am) for our Solstice yoga practice in the beautifully air conditioned Merriott Village Hall.
