What a day to remember! Despite a dramatic start with thunder and lightning, nothing could dampen the Grovefest spirit. Our garden came alive with music, laughter, and a true festival atmosphere. 💫

🎶 Live entertainment from the Magic Voices Choir, Calamity Jane singers, and the wonderful Bronte had everyone smiling, singing, and clapping along.

🍦🍿 Sweet treats and fun galore! Guests enjoyed ice cream, popcorn, candy floss, and joined in with face painting, tattoos, fortune telling, a photo booth, and our raffle.

💚 We’re thrilled to share that all funds raised will go directly to the Friends of Grovelands Fund, supporting trips and activities that bring joy to our community.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, sang, laughed, and celebrated with us... you made Grovefest2 unforgettable! 🌞🎉

“Being able to use the respite facility at Grovelands gave us the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy a holiday knowing that Marg would be well looked after." 🏡

A respite break at Grovelands ticked all of the boxes for Marg and her family ✅

During her stay, Marg was able to meet new friends, enjoy the food, drink and activities on offer, and even have her grandchildren and great-grandchildren come to visit!

The experience was such a positive one, that shortly after returning home, Marg booked to return for another respite break at Grovelands, later in the year.

We look forward to seeing you again soon, Marg!

We recently took a trip “Around the World” right here at Grovelands, and what a fun and enriching day it was! 🌏

Our amazing staff dressed in traditional national costumes, sharing stories, traditions, and tastes from their cultures with our residents. A special shoutout to Chandini, who looked stunning in her traditional sari, and to Don, who wowed us in his samurai costume while sharing his fascinating knowledge of Japanese history. 🥋💫

We all enjoyed music from around the globe, international cuisine, and visual displays that brought the world to life, all without leaving the comfort of home. 👏

It was a beautiful celebration of diversity, connection, and cultural understanding, showcasing the rich tapestry of backgrounds that make up our incredible team and community. 🥰

Residents had a fantastic day soaking up the sunshine at Ninesprings Country Park, enjoying a relaxing picnic surrounded by nature. A perfect way to embrace the great outdoors and spend quality time together! 🌞 🥪

We had a wonderful day out at Ham Hill Country Park, soaking in the beautiful scenery before indulging in delicious ice cream and refreshing drinks at the Prince of Wales Pub Ham Hill . A perfect way to enjoy the warmth of the sunshine! 😍 🌞 🍦

Thank You and Good Luck from all of us at Grovelands to the Mayor of Yeovil, Cllr Andy, as he prepares to retire from his mayoral duties next month.

Our residents hosted a special farewell party in his honour, a chance to share smiles, stories, and their heartfelt appreciation. Cllr Andy has always taken the time to chat, listen, and share his incredible knowledge of Yeovil with us. His visits have brought joy and connection, and we’ve truly valued his support of our home. 👏👋

Wishing you all the very best for the next chapter Cllr Andy and, always welcome. 💙
