✨ On the 12th evening of Christmas, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a truly joyful festive season at Grovelands ✨

From a delightful cream tea afternoon with scones, jam, clotted cream and a touch of bubbly (beautifully served by our staff in waitress attire), to wonderful performances by Grovelands Choir sharing the Nativity story, it’s been a time full of warmth and togetherness. We loved welcoming the Yeovil Applejax line dancers, hosting a special Christmas visit from Mayor of Yeovil Tony Lock, and sharing a meaningful Christingle service celebrating Jesus as the light of the world. 🎅

We also turned up the energy with the fantastic Calamity Jane performers, bringing country-style music with a festive twist 🤠🎶

A great time was had by all — yeehaw! 🤩

✨ PETALS Sensory Christmas Celebration Highlights! ✨

We had a magical time at our PETALS sensory Christmas party! 🎄

This year, we created two unique festive zones to suit everyone’s mood:
🌿 Relax & Unwind Zone – A cozy space with soothing hand massages, hot chocolate, calming Christmas scents, and a beautiful sensory light show.

🎅 Festive Fun Zone – A lively area filled with upbeat music, singing, dancing, and lots of laughter.

Both zones were filled with delicious treats and heartwarming moments, giving everyone the freedom to celebrate Christmas their way. 💖

Our residents have been getting creative with pumpkin crafts, making the season extra festive and full of fun! 🖌️

We also want to show off the incredible ‘Outstanding Pumpkin’ carved by Paul, a friend of Grovelands, what a masterpiece! 👏🎃

It’s been a spook-tacular time for creativity, laughter, and autumnal joy! 💛

Who remembers our fearless supervisor, Rose, who took on a skydiving challenge?! 🤩

Thanks to her incredible courage and determination, Rose raised a PHENOMENAL £1,000 for our residents’ activities resources! 👏💛

What a day to remember! Despite a dramatic start with thunder and lightning, nothing could dampen the Grovefest spirit. Our garden came alive with music, laughter, and a true festival atmosphere. 💫

🎶 Live entertainment from the Magic Voices Choir, Calamity Jane singers, and the wonderful Bronte had everyone smiling, singing, and clapping along.

🍦🍿 Sweet treats and fun galore! Guests enjoyed ice cream, popcorn, candy floss, and joined in with face painting, tattoos, fortune telling, a photo booth, and our raffle.

💚 We’re thrilled to share that all funds raised will go directly to the Friends of Grovelands Fund, supporting trips and activities that bring joy to our community.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, sang, laughed, and celebrated with us... you made Grovefest2 unforgettable! 🌞🎉
