🍾 Prosecco for Potter House! 🍾

We're raising a glass to International Prosecco Day with a sparkling evening event on Wednesday 13th August, from 6pm – 8pm here at Potter House!

Join us for bubbles, laughter, and good company as we toast to the finer things in life. Whether you enjoy a glass of fizz or prefer to stay alcohol-free, we’ll also be serving 'nosecco' so everyone can join in the celebration.

🧀 There’ll be a delicious spread of cheese and biscuits to nibble on throughout the evening too!

☀️ If the weather’s kind, we’ll enjoy the event in our beautiful garden – and if not, we’ll keep it cosy in our comfortable lounges, with the option to relax in the cinema room.

✨ This is a free event, and residents, families, and friends are all welcome. If you’re able, we’d really appreciate donations towards our staff skydive in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society 💙

We had an absolutely fantastic time at our Summer Fete yesterday, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came along to support us! From smiling faces to sunshine and a few heavy downpours, it was still a truly special day.

A big shoutout to Bugfest and Twinnies Petting Farm for helping our residents make unforgettable memories – the joy and excitement you brought was priceless. 🐍🐇💛

We’d also like to thank Tara from Fabric Sewn Beautiful and Alistair for joining us with their lovely stalls – your presence really added to the day.

📣 Skydive Reminder – The Countdown is On! 🪂💙

Potter House Care Home — a 66-bedded residential and dementia care home — is incredibly proud to be sending 15 of our brave team members up for a 10,000-foot skydive on September 3rd, in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. 💜

This jump is extra special as it takes place during National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month — a time dedicated to raising awareness and showing support for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
This cause is deeply personal to us. Every day, we support amazing individuals living with dementia, and this skydive is our way of going above and beyond — literally — to make a difference.
