Remembrance Sunday

Today, our Front of House Manager Jess attended the service at St Michael & All Angels Church on behalf of all our residents and staff, joining our local community in a morning of reflection and remembrance.

We had the honour of reading a poem and laying a wreath on behalf of everyone at Potter House — a moment of quiet respect to remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Many of our residents chose to stay in the warmth of the home, where they watched the BBC coverage of the Cenotaph service together. Our tribute was shared both within the home and in the wider community, ensuring we all took time to remember in our own way.

It was a solemn and meaningful occasion, bringing together residents, staff, and members of the community to ensure that we never forget.

“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”
