We shape the services locally and nationally with parent carers, by giving you the opportunity to have your say. We have a 'finding your way' online guide and opportunities to meet like minded parents and carers, to feel less isolated, share strategies, sharing information and to feel empowered. This relaxed and welcoming group offers parent carers the chance to connect with others who are navigating the journey of raising neurodiverse children, particularly those with ADHD.

As we head into December, we’ll be offering a free breakfast sandwich or bap and a drink to everyone who comes along! 🥓☕

This group is open to anyone caring for a child with additional needs and/or disabilities, no diagnosis needed.

It’s a relaxed, friendly space for parent carers to connect, share, unwind, and feel supported. Whether you're seeking advice, community, or simply a warm cuppa and a chat, you’re more than welcome. 💛

🎄 Eco Christmas Craft Day with Step Up Somerset 🎄

Carymoor Environmental Trust is excited to host an Eco Christmas Craft Day, funded by Somerset Council for adults on a low income or those who meet the funding criteria (such as carers or anyone who would benefit from improving their mental health).

The funded space allows one adult to attend with one child aged 8+. Together, they’ll enjoy creating beautiful, sustainable crafts including Swedish stars, mini Christmas trees, mini reindeer, and other willow-based eco decorations.

We’ve got a fantastic mix of online and face-to-face WISE workshops coming up this December, including some new and refreshed sessions designed to support parent carers of children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities.
