There is an obvious theme here looking back through my pics. It may not be obvious to all that it is self care.
The beach is my calm, chill out place. It's like the rolling of the waves and the strong sea breeze just wash everything away and I feel refreshed and energised.
What do you do for self care.
I was having a conversation with a friend this week and we talked about the importance of saying "No".
To put aside that automatic obligatory response to everyone that asks something of you. The thing is, the more you say yes, the more people expect.
If you don't tell them no, that you don't have the time, the energy, or resources , they will not know, and they will keep asking and expecting.
In the extreme this can affect your health and wellbeing.
Just think of it this way....
If you do so much that you become unwell & unable to help, what will they do... find someone else!
So don't wait for that, say NO, advocate for yourself and go to your chill place, wherever that may be, once in a while 💗
