In our job we our privileged to meet some of the kindest, wittiest and most humble of people.

This week we are truly saddened to say goodbye to an absolute gent. You brought light to our day, you could find a positive in any situation with a pinch of humour.

You will be remembered fondly and spoken of frequently.

A little a bit about us and what we’ll do… we’re a Jack (well Jill 😜) of all trades!

We aren’t offering perfectly styled show homes with hoover lines down to a tea and taps that we can see our faces in… we won’t be showing you pictures of our shower screens that you could walk right into ( that feels dangerous anyway… I’m sure a couple of streaks could keep you safer 😂)

We are offering to help! Sometimes that looks like a clean tidy but lived in house, sometimes that looks like food in your cupboard and sometimes that feels like ‘thank god I’ve seen someone today!’

So this morning has mostly consisted of drinking tea 🫖 and having a natter.

The wonderful people we visit have a lifetime of stories but often no one to tell them too.

I hope they realise they add as much to our lives as we hopefully do to theirs 🥰

Although we may meet some of our clients when dementia seems to be at it’s cruelest, we still get to see snippets of the person before… the humour, the kindness, (the stubbornness 🤣) the lives well lived.

We have nearly hit the first year mark and what a year it’s been 🥰

We really have hit the ground running, we couldn’t be more proud of our little business!

We are thankful to have met some really lovely clients and looking forward to meeting more over the next year.

We do currently have some availability on a Tuesday and Thursday in and around the Acomb area.

We are also expanding to the Selby and Cliffe with daily availability 😊😊😊
