A recent client review ✨ Victoria came for her first appointment about a month ago, and the improvement over just a short period has been massive. The power of regular massage should not be underrated.

Unlike most massages, I do not follow a routine. I check in with you at the beginning of each session and talk about how you are feeling in your body - any areas of concern. I will then work with what I feel and together we will release your tension.

Let’s talk about hands. We use our hands all day, every day. Yet in conventional massage the hands are often neglected.

In Raynor Massage we recognise the importance of treating this area as they can hold a lot of residual tension. I will work with you to begin releasing stagnation in the hands before moving up the arms and into the shoulders.

It’s been over a week since I participated in the wonderful exhibition launch of ‘stitch away the stigma’ curated by . A project designed to help those that have been affected by loved ones with addiction. The event raised lots of money for a charity that has helped Natalie personally with her experience and many many others. I encourage everyone to go take a look at the work - at city screen in York or simply through her Instagram account.

I love the beauty of everyone’s individual squares stitched together to make a gorgeous wall hanging - representing a togetherness. No one is alone. ❤️

What is Raynor Massage?

Raynor massage is an amazing system of bodywork developed by Naturopath Brandon Raynor.

The massage incorporates a combination of different styles from around the world that include Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Ayurvedic, Swedish, Hawaiian, Remedial, Shiatsu and Hand and Foot Reflexology.

There is no specific routine to this massage. The goal is to find where you are holding residual tension or blockages in the body- and use specific moves or stretches to eliminate it.

Raynor massage therapists are trained to view the body as one holistic organism. Recognising that often the area that may hurt the most, is not always the area that needs the most attention.
