Citywide Health now offers a weight management service which includes a 4 weekly face to face support consultation and supply of weight loss medication (details on our website.) This medication is self administered via a simple weekly injection and makes you feel less hungry and reduces cravings. It also slows down the emptying of the stomach to keep you feeling fuller for longer. You need to have a BMI of at least 30, or at least 27 if you have other weight related health problems. The service service starts with the lowest dose and costs £160 every 4 weeks.
