Happy Monday everyone, hope the weekend was kind! I had a blast soothing weary legs on Saturday night at the finish of the Hardwolds 40 (um actually 47 miles!) in Malton. Lovely to see my regular clients, and welcome new ones to the massage couch.

Huge congratulations to my client Ant on coming third overall and first vet 50. So chuffed for you Ant! 🥳🥳

What a great couple of weeks off that was! Starting with completing the Montane Summer Spine Challenger North 160 mile foot race along the Pennine Way, and finishing up with a few nights away with my friend Jo and our boys to Corfu as a post GCSE celebration. And we brought the weather back with us - you’re welcome!

I am fully booked this week, but have some availability next. I am away again the week of the 14th (yes I know! Like Judith Chalmers!) for Mr B’s big birthday. But at least my school summer holiday availability is good this year as I think we are holidayed out !

June availability:

Basically, barely any! I’m fully booked next week. I have a couple of day time slots left Monday 9th or Wednesday 11th, for my regular clients only, then I’m away for two weeks. If you would like an appointment on those days please message, otherwise see you in July.

Today’s office boasted the finest view in England, and it wasn’t of my massage couch!

Hot hot hot for today’s Hardmoors White Horse marathon/half marathon/ten k races where I was based offering event massage to some very dusty, sweaty legs. It was also the Rob Burrows Leeds marathon ❤️ Huge congratulations to all of my clients and friends who ran in both events, tough day for running despite the gorgeous views.

Mine is the one on the left, at school leavers dress up day (Breaking Bad if you can’t tell). GCSEs start on Monday! Please please cancel your appointment with me if you have any summer cold or virus symptoms over the next few weeks, no charge! Those summer bugs seem to be staring to do the rounds, and this boy has college to get into!

Great CPD day with my friend, physio and professional mentor Clare Davison today in her clinic, thank you so much Clare. I am very lucky to have professional supervision, having someone to tailor training that meets my specific training needs and practise/refresh techniques is an absolute blessing.

It’s always great to start the working week brimming with new ideas and knowledge! Looking forward to getting back to my treatment room tomorrow after hiking St Cuthberts Way this weekend, 65 miles of Scottish Borders and Northumbrian hills, with the barefoot crossing of the causeway onto Holy Island the wonderful finale.

Huge congratulations to all of my clients and friends who ran either the London or Manchester marathon yesterday, you all did amazingly! I have had the pleasure of running both in previous years and know how incredible both events are. Here are Nora, Jo and Cherisse showing off their London bling. Brilliant ladies!

Did anyone else run? I had a great time watching the highlights and following both trackers with a pot of tea 😁

Themes of my 48 hours in the Dales running the Settle CP on the Ranger Ultras PB270/137 - far too many brews made in these snazzy mugs, far reaching stunning views during rest breaks, cheeky and incredible runners and co CP coordinators, and a lot of TLC.
