I have been feeling conflicted with how I plan to “sell myself” as a nutritional advisor in a market saturated with “specialists” who have way too many opinions…
There’s one thing I do know, I want to encourage a positive relationship with food resulting in a healthier, happier and fulfilled life.
To do the above gets confusing, with so many mixed messages on social media on the right or wrong approach. Everything gets a bad rep…..“meal plans are too restrictive”, “macro tracking is obsessive”, “flexible dieting is unhealthy” and so on…
F*ck?! 🤯 How do I help people without triggering or pi***ng someone off!?!
Then I realised, and I want you to realise too, none of these methods are wrong. It’s all about you,figuring out together the method that suits you, your goals, your lifestyle, your triggers, YOUR NEEDS.
The ultimate aim is of course to eat mindfully; to nourish our bodies correctly and respectfully, to not feel food guilt, to not punish yourself for “over-indulging”, to understanding hunger cues and to quite simply enjoy a wide variety of foods!
