As founder of The Hearing Place, I’m proud of the (predominantly female) team I am building. Every day I strive to inspire my girls, Mya & Connie to be strong, independent women. I aim to lead my team by example, with compassion and gratitude. Helen, Caroline, Claire, Mya & Beki, THP wouldn’t be what it is without all you wonderful women. Thank you.

I don’t have a photo without Sam but he has always been my biggest cheerleader and supporter and is always there for our team. He was raised by an incredible woman; Connie.

We were delighted to hear that Peppa Pig’s little brother George is to be diagnosed with hearing loss and the voice of his audiologist is the fabulous Jodie Ounsley.

Our girls loved Peppa Pig growing up. When Mya was diagnosed with hearing loss when she was only 4, seeing a character on one the shows she watched going through a similar experience would have been so helpful. We’re pleased that all children who suffer with hearing loss will have a role model in George Pig. Anything that raises awareness about hearing loss and inclusivity has to be a positive move. Well done to all involved.
