This month marks 20 years since I started my career in audiology. Ive helped a lot of patients hear better in that time and I still enjoy and feel privileged to be able to improve people’s quality of life on a daily basis. I’ve developed some great friendships, both clients and colleagues, and I’m grateful for all those who guided and nurtured me over the years.

Opening our Haxby clinic is something I’m incredibly proud of, it’s such a lovely environment for us to work together and clients have been so complimentary.

I’m feeling chuffed to have been included in the recent ‘100 voices’ campaign by Enterprise Works at The University of York. A project highlighting, supporting and celebrating female entrepreneurs in our region. You can read my story here:

A new ‘Hear us Out’ is Paddyfields Cantonese restaurant in Haxby. We took a few of our recent ‘models’ out for dinner to thank them.

We are quite regular visitors to Paddyfields and we really love it! The service is always excellent, special mention to Jimmy & Elaine who always have big smiles and time for a chat even though it’s constantly busy.

And what can I say about the food? Exceptional every time. The Peking ribs are a personal favourite, along with the crispy shredded chilli beef and I can’t have Chinese without sweet and sour chicken. Always fresh, hot and totally delicious.

Thanks for having us again and we look forward to seeing you next time!
