Update to yesterday’s incident!
I surmised from the hole what may have caused the damage to the bus window - I apologise for this - we do not know what was aimed at it. Being extremely annoyed about it, my Facebook post maybe wasn’t as it should have been.
The incident has been reported to the police -
If anyone knows anything about it , the incident number is WYP-202116-0648.

Above all the most important thing is that no one was hurt, but this is why we need to try and track the offenders down to stop any re-occurrence and possibility of danger to drivers and customers of all bus services.
We are waiting for the CCTV in the hope that something can be seen to show to the police.

The state of this lawless country has luckily not caused injury to any of the customers or driver on our service 11 tonight.
It looks as if the bus has been targeted by thugs as it was on its way to Scholes on the A64.
The mindset of these absolute morons beggars belief. What on earth are their parents doing and what would they think if they knew their offspring was up to this. Maybe this is the problem?
More to the point what would have happened if someone had been injured on the bus?
If anyone has any information on this incident, please let us know - hopefully we can get some information which can assist the police with this

Some excellent parking here in copmanthorpe this morning which caused over 10 minutes delay to the super13 this morning.
Unfortunately, such is the state this country is in now, people know they can get away with doing this with no retribution from the authorities.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

We’d also like to thank all of our staff who help provide the service, obviously the drivers, and those behind the scenes such as cleaners, engineers and our operations staff.

We’d like to wish all our customers best wishes for Christmas and a happy New Year

See the attached for our service levels over the festive period this year.
To clarify, we will be operating a Saturday service on the 27th, 29th, 30th and 31st December. On 29th, 30th, 31st December, the 412 will additionally operate (but not the 0645 from Wetherby or the 1835 from York)
2nd January will have a normal school holiday service.
We would like to wish all of our customers a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year

That’s wrapped up our hires this year for the coach with a trip to Harrogate pantomime for a regular primary school customer.

Despite traffic making it near impossible to run a reliable bus service currently, we are continuing to invest in our fleet.
We’ve just bought this - the last Scania double deck bus supplied to an operator in the uk. (From a fellow ALBUM member).
Barely run in, it will soon be on one of our local bus services (one that is not being stolen from us under franchising)
It’s in the queue to be painted but will be in these colours until we can get it in our shade of green!

It’s knaresborough Christmas market time again.
Once again, working with the town, we are providing the Park and Ride today and tomorrow from Manse Lane to the town centre.
It’s been very busy today so come early if you’re coming tomorrow!
The buses run from 0800 until the car park shuts at 1800.
The market opens at 1000, and Sunday is rounded off with a firework finale at 1630.

After having been stuck here, we will not be able to serve Menston village unfortunately.
This bus did manage to get through but only bybeing guided by some friendly householders.
If anyone could let us know when it’s clear, we’ll return to Normal route then.
(And before any smart Alec’s comment about ‘you could get a bus through there- the rear end swing, without being supervised could easily hit the rear of either car- and we’d rather not risk that- as currently parking like a cabbage isn’t reason to crash into a car)
