What do Guardian Angel Carers do?

In a nutshell we provide assistance to those who need help to remain in their own home safely, and can enable them to live a full and enjoyable life.

We are a CQC registered care provider able to give care visits at home on a daily, weekly or multiple times per week, as required.

Things we can help with can include the following :

Companionship - this could be a natter over a coffee or a game of scrabble or other activity.

Enablement - accompanied trips out to enable the client to still safely take part in activities important to them.

Medication support - assist with the safe administration and management of prescribed drugs.

Bathing - we can assist with safe showering or bathing.

Shopping - we can take the client out shopping and assist with ensuring everything is put away.

Nutrition and hydration - we can cook home cooked meals for clients to ensure they are well fed.

Household assistance - help to complete light chores such as help with laundry or ironing that the client now finds too difficult to complete on their own.

However - We offer a bespoke service, individually tailored to each person to guarantee the client has a package which suits them. With regular reviews as standard to make sure our care changes as the client does.

Based in Easingwold and covering Hambleton, Ryedale and York areas.

Who spotted us on the front of the Easingwold advertiser this weekend?

AJ and Julia looking fabulous in the coverage which shows the £1200 + that was raised through our dementia fundraiser.

Thank you once again to all of the local businesses that gave very generously to provide prizes for our raffle and also to everyone that came down and purchased cakes ,bakes and raffle tickets.

Derek enjoys knowing that twice a week Guardian Angel Carers will be visiting.

" I just enjoy the companionship, sometimes we go out for fish and chips, sometimes we do some baking or cooking. Its just nice knowing someone will be here, like clockwork, to keep an eye out for me. When the anniversary of my wife's death came around recently, it was an emotional time. The Care-Angels moved their visit day to that date, so that I would have some company at a sad time. It's things like that that make a difference, I love having them here".

All our visiting carers are locally based, well trained and naturally compassionate.

We work closely with families and individuals, delivering person-first care.
