Happy Pride Month to all my friends, colleagues and clients who celebrate this really important period in the calendar. 🏳️‍🌈

A few points of order:

* There isn't a Straight Pride because there isn't a constant struggle for healthy identity and a battle against shame that is passed on from generation to generation and perpetuated by the 'WhY dO tHey hAvE To ADvertIsE it?' Brigade within the Straight community (if there even is one). If someone told you that you have no right to be, I hope you'd fight and show who you are. This is what it is.

* It's a whole month because anyone who knows anything knows that the LGBTQ+ can organise their s**t, get their elbows out and fight for their rights. Learn from it, don't hate it.

* It means a lot to a lot of your LGBTQ+ friends to say happy Pride Month. So say it if you mean it! Allyship can be the simplest gesture.

* Take your kids along to a Pride event if you can. You'll not find a place where happiness, togetherness, kindness and non-judgement is better expressed.

* Whataboutery is not welcome on this or any other post that wants to share the Power, Loveliness and Pride connected with this month's celebration. No half-formed, ill-conceived opinions sought. Like it or move the f**k along! 🖕

❄️ A lovely morning in the snow with Junior. Aggy's mum and I were definitely the grafters whereas Agnes focussed on creative oversight. And ignored us until it looked fun/finished ☃️

Massive weekend ahead at New Lane with a TRIPLE HEADER on Saturday 9th November!!🔥🔥

1. York RI Touch Rugby vs Typhoons RUFC Touch Team at 11:45
2. York RI Templars vs Typhoons RUFC at 13:00
3. York RI Mens 1sts vs Aireborough RUFC at 14:15

The lads play against Aireborough for their second match of the season, with York RI getting the win away at Aireborough in their first match up. They are keen to ensure victory at home.💪

Finally, on Sunday 10th November we have York RI Womens Rugby Union vs Skipton Roses Ladies Rugby at 14:00 (Stay tuned for more info)
