Good morning and a warm welcome to my new page and my first post! My name is Steve and I am a consultant ophthalmologist based in Yorkshire, specialising in cataract surgery. If you caught the football last night, other than celebrating a couple of goals and a great win for the England team, you may have noticed the alarming incident whereby an irresponsible spectator shone a laser into Kasper Schmeichel's face whilst he was preparing to save a penalty shot.
