Hello friends, our group currently practices under the guidance of Zen Master Dae An (Bogumila Malinowska). We use zoom meetings to connect with Dae An as she lives in London currently and the rest of us meet in person at Miller's Yard. The website below has more information about our teacher and have regular events like retreat days (Zen day) and online practice.

About Zen Practice. Formal Zen practice in our tradition is done in four ways: bowing, chanting, sitting meditation and Kong-an interviews.

This workshop is an overview of the history and cultural context in which they made their contributions. No matter our gender, coding Zen or Buddhism as male distorts the teachings and confuses our practice. This class is for everyone."

Zen Master Soeng Hyang's visit to Europe

Zen Master Soeng Hyang, will be visiting several Sanghas in Europe in May 2025 leading short retreats. Zen Master Soeng Hyang (Barbara Rhodes) is the School Zen Master of the Kwan Um School of Zen around the world. She received dharma transmission from Zen Master Seung Sahn on October 10, 1992. She was one of Zen Master Seung Sahn's first American students and studied with him beginning in 1972. She was given inka in 1977. A registered nurse since 1969, she currently works in hospice care.
