There is something about having a moment in the week to look forward to!🌿

A space where you can arrive, settle in, and take a little time just for yourself. No pressure, no expectations, just a chance to pause and be with the sound.

This week I am holding two beautiful spaces, each with its own feel, but both created with care and a gentle welcome.

A gentle Soothing Sunday, a moment to pause, listen, and soften into sound.

There is something quietly grounding about watching nature move in its own rhythm.

The eucalyptus sways slowly in the breeze, as though it is breathing with the world around it, steady and unhurried.

The continuous flow of the rain stick moves alongside this moment, like time gently passing through, inviting you to slow down and come back to yourself.

Sway. Breathe. Listen.

Sound has a way of reaching us that words often can’t.

It’s something I notice in every session, the moment where things begin to soften, not because anything is being forced, but because the body is being given the space to respond in its own way.

What I find most interesting is how different each experience can be. The same sounds can feel calming for one person, grounding for another, or simply offer a rare moment to pause without needing to do anything at all.

There isn’t a single outcome or expectation. Instead, it’s more about allowing yourself to be present with whatever arises, whether that’s stillness, awareness, rest, or simply noticing the sounds themselves.

That in itself can be a powerful shift, especially in a world where we are so often encouraged to keep going.

I’m always interested to hear how people experience sound. If you’ve joined a session before, what stood out to you most? 🌿

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that rest has to be earned.

That we need to do enough first.

Give enough first.

And for many mums, this can become even more deeply ingrained. Quietly putting themselves last, often without even noticing it happening.

Whether you are in the early years of motherhood, the busy in-between years, or supporting grown children… you are still allowed to receive care too.

But rest was never meant to be conditional.

It is something your body already knows how to receive.

A moment in April. 🌸

April has a way of moving with a full kind of energy.

Longer days beginning to stretch out, more happening around us, and minds that can feel a little busier as everything starts to shift and grow.

And in the middle of that, there is always a quiet reminder that you do not need to keep up with the pace of everything around you.

There is space to slow down.
There is space to soften.
There is space to come back to yourself in your own time.

Looking ahead to May, I will be holding a few Gong Bath evenings alongside our Be Held collaboration with Birch Holistics.

Each space is held with care and offers a gentle invitation to step in when it feels right for you.

It does not rush, yet it always finds its way forward. It flows around obstacles, soft yet persistent, gentle yet powerful in its presence.

You are the same in so many ways. Even when life feels uncertain or slow, you are still moving, still growing, still becoming. The strength within you is not always loud, but it is steady and always present.

Today is a gentle reminder to trust your own flow. You do not need to force or hurry your journey.

You are allowed to move at your own pace and still arrive exactly where you are meant to be.

There is something deeply nourishing about allowing yourself to slow down.

To let the week fall away, without needing to hold it all anymore.

Sink into stillness for a moment, settle your breath, and soften into the space you are in right now.

The steady, continuous flow of the rain stick moves like a quiet passage of time, softly guiding each moment, while the gentle rhythm of the tongue drum mirrors tulips swaying in the breeze, calm, natural, and unhurried.

It’s not really about what happens during the evening.

A quieter mind.

A nervous system that feels like it can begin to finally exhale.

Many mums arrive carrying so much. Thoughts, tension, responsibility, emotional load. Often without even realising how heavy it’s become.

The reflections people share after sessions always leave me feeling so grateful 🌿

Hearing things like “I arrived exhausted and left with energy and peace” or “it changed my perspective on a lot of things” always lands so deeply with me.

What touches me most is knowing that these sessions can become a space where people feel safe enough to truly unwind, be still, and reconnect with themselves in a way that life doesn’t always allow. Even the simple reflection that the sound helped someone be still more comfortably really stays with me, because it reminds me how individual and supportive the experience can be.

Moments like this leave me feeling incredibly grateful. They remind me why I continue to hold these spaces and why I trust the process of sound, stillness, and presence so deeply.

It’s such a privilege to witness what unfolds for each person and to hear how the experience meets them in exactly the way they need. 🌙✨

What makes this feel especially special is knowing that something so simple, lying back and receiving sound, can create such meaningful shifts.

and then immediately talk themselves out of it.

Not because they don’t need it,
but because choosing something just for themselves can feel unfamiliar after spending so much time caring for everyone else.

We know that motherhood asks so much in every season.

From the early sleepless years, to the full and busy family years, to the quieter seasons where your children may need you differently… your need for care still matters too.

This evening was created for all mums.

A space to soften, be looked after, and remember what it feels like to receive.
