Thank you to everyone who has joined us for our special certificate week! It's been gorgeous to see all your faces light up as we've recapped some of our favourite activities from the term and celebrated with certificates!

We have another busy weekend at RT York with a party fundraiser for PTFA! And we will be busy preparing for our Christmas classes next week!

Whether they’re jumping, dancing, shaking instruments, or marching to the beat, Rhythm Time sessions are designed with toddlers in mind - giving them lots of activities to focus their energy!

Every toddler class includes:

🎉 BOOKING IS OPEN FOR JANUARY! 🎉

2026 could be your little one's year for discovering and developing their love of music 🥰 We have classes suitable from birth to primary school, and the progressive courses are designed to grow with your child:

Babies: Begin their musical journey from birth and learn together through music and play 🎶

Toddlers: Watch your little one's confidence grow as they explore rhythms, rhymes, movement and songs 🥁

Pre-schoolers: Begin the foundations of early music reading, continue their understanding of rhythm patterns and develop their concentration skills 🎼

Our SPRING term runs between 5th January and 27th March in:
💛Monday - Acomb and Osbaldwick
🧡 Tuesday - Clifton/ Rawcliffe
💚 Wednesday - Rufforth
💙 Thursday - New Earswick
💜 Friday - Acomb

Classes are available as a 6 week half term block for £45, or monthly payment plans of £22.21 are available!

Thank you for another fabulous week together! We have been roaring like lions in pre-school, clicking castanets in toddler and shaking foil and blankets in baby classes!

It's a very busy weekend for RT York as we've got a special 1st birthday party and I hope to catch up with some of you at the 11am taster session at tomorrow!

Yes! We are not just for babies! We have individual classes for pre-school children, packed with learning and musical content.

All our pre-school classes encourage:

✅ Taking turns
✅ Listening to instructions
✅ Sharing their own ideas
✅ Building confidence in a group
✅ Counting and colours
✅ Sorting and tidying
✅ Reading musical notation and performance directions

The activities are designed to STIMULATE your child's imagination and allow them to show off their fabulous creativity!

Pre-school classes are available on Wednesdays 9.30 in Rufforth, Thursdays 9.40 in New Earswick, and Fridays 9.40 in Acomb.

🎤🥁 Friday photo round up! 🥁 🎤

Another brilliant week with our Babies, Toddlers and Pre-schoolers! The maypole was out in all of our classes and we had sensory boxes with our babies for some gentle calm, exploration time! Sarah and I have loved it!

It's still very snowy and icy this weekend so do take care when you're out and about!
