🎶🥳🥁 Autumn term booking is now OPEN! 💕🤩🪇
Monday 1st September - Tuesday 16th December!

This term includes the autumn week specials across all classes before half term break, and Christmas week before the Christmas holidays!

I'm thrilled to release our autumn timetable with lots of our lovely classes and venues! I am so proud to be bringing a PRE-SCHOOL class to THURSDAYS in New Earswick, as well as adding on an additional Toddler class on Fridays in Acomb due to popularity! With so many of our families staying on with Rhythm Time, there are some classes which are already limited in availability (thank you thank you!!!!)

🪇 What is Rhythm Time? 🥁
Rhythm Time classes are music sessions for babies, toddlers or pre-schoolers led by a class leader, developing understanding of pulse in music, encouraging fine motor skills, and leading you and your little one through a series of group and individual music activities! We have lots of movement, sensory play, and interaction, as well as age-appropriate learning opportunities for your little one.

Our courses are designed to grow with your child, from multi-sensory developmental Baby classes, to Toddler and Pre-school classes which support the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and prepare your little one for school.

Prices start from £7.40 per class with trial options available on some classes. All bookings include access to unlimited classes around York which means you can go to extra classes for FREE where there's space!

Thank you to everyone who has already booked for our 'That's not my zoo' collaboration classes with ! Our new safari animal puppets have arrived and I've got some funky new zoo playdough cutters for our stay and play time after class! I'm also thrilled to be being joined by Usborne rep on Friday 8th August in Acomb and she will be bringing along her books for sale too!

This is a special party class to celebrate all the animals! Your booking includes a 30 minute Rhythm Time class followed by 30 mins free play and snacks. Siblings under 12 months and over 6 are free in the family class! Please contact me to let me know about additional siblings!

🎶🧡 Our July intergenerational class at Ouse View Care Home is available to book- WEDNESDAY 16th JULY at 10.15am!

🧡 Come join Sarah and the residents of Ouse View for some music making fun with the rest of our Rhythm Time gang! 🎶 Our last session was a sell-out success and we'd love you to come too!

This session includes a 30 minute Rhythm Time class with the residents, followed by refreshments (a bun 🧁and a cup of tea!) and social time!

🐄🐖🐑 Celebrating 40 years of Poppy and Sam Farmyard Tales! What a way to end our Summer term! Sarah and I have LOVED being with you this summer with so much learning enjoyed across all our classes!

A huge THANK YOU to you all for being there for us and keeping our classes buzzing! The kind words you say about our classes, and the recommendations you make for us to your friends, are so powerful and truly keep us going!

We've said goodbye to some of our pre-school Rhythm Timers who will be going to school in September. When a child has been with Rhythm Time since they were 12 weeks old and they have kept with the class until they go to school, it's an amazing journey and just fabulous to think how far they have come. We will definitely miss our pre-schoolers!

Lots of our baby parents are also returning to work by September, but I'm completely thrilled that so many parents have kept their day off for Rhythm Time and their little one will be joining the toddler class! It's going to be brilliant!

Sarah and I have a couple of nurseries, parties and the intergenerational class next Wednesday to do before we have a proper break for summer, but we hope you all have a good rest and relax in the sunshine and take care this summer too!

And of course, I know I'll be seeing lots of you at the summer specials at the beginning of August too!

🧸 Teddy Bears’ Picnic charity class! 🧸

Another fabulous picnic class in the great outdoors! We absolutely shook our maracas and sang loud at our annual class to raise money for charity! We have raised £80 for ! Thank you so much!

Thank you to people who have shared photos with me! And special mention goes to who has now attended this class for all 3 years we’ve done it! 🙌
