Purchasing & Accounts Assistant.
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team.
As a Purchasing & Accounts Assistant the ideal candidate will provide essential support across both purchasing and accounts. You will be integral to the financial operations of the organisation, working closely with the operations team, reporting into the Finance Manager.
Role Responsibilities.
-Process sales orders and raising sales invoices.
-Deal with daily telephone & online orders, customer queries & complaints.
-Managing supplier relationships, tracking orders and resolving delays
-Raising and processing purchase orders, ensuring all pricing, quantities and supplier details are accurate.
-Maintaining supplier records, including contact information, pricing and ensuring all std costs are correct and up to date within the system.
-Credit control.
-Sending out monthly statements.
-Assist with processing of supplier invoices, checking of statements.
This is not an exhaustive list and the person employed in this role should be willing to undertake other tasks if required within the remit of the role.
Who we are looking for
-Good attention to detail.
-Excellent organisation skills.
-Experience of Sage 200/SAP Business One would be an advantage but not essential.
-A good communicator on the phone with experience of handling inbound and outbound calls.
-Experience with using Excel & Word.
-Experience of working in a similar role.
-Ability to hit the ground running.
Part Time, permanent and is Office Based Only, 30hrs over 5 days
Salary – £25,500 - 27,000 pro rata
Office opening times are
Mon - Thurs - 8.00 - 4.30
Fri - 8.00 - 1.30
