🤩 Thirsk School A Level Results
Students from Thirsk School and Sixth Form College have been celebrating an extremely strong set of A level results, with students achieving better than expected grades across the board.
A particular success was in our vocational qualifications, with 83% of results being the equivalent of an A or A*.
A quarter of all grades (A level and vocational) were at this high level.
Some notable successes amongst this year’s results were Lydia Broadbent (A\* A\* A) who is off to Durham to read English Literature, Thomas Conacher (A\* A\* A) who is heading to the USA before reading History, Sophie Milton (Distinction\* Distinction A\* A) who is reading Psychology at Leeds and Sophie Hodgson (A\* A\* 😎, who is heading to Sheffield to read Biomedical Sciences…
