Not only do we have the best yoga teachers in York - with over 200 years(!) experience between them - we respect and understand yoga as an ancient practice that unites body, mind and spirit; offer affordable and inclusive classes with discounts for students and anyone in financial hardship; and have been named the best Yoga Studio in York by the Quality Business Awards 🏆

But don’t take word for it - we believe we’re the best because our students believe we’re the best ☺️ we love hearing all the things you love about the Studio and what makes it special to you 🥰 you’re the reason we do all that we do! So thank you 🙏🏻

⭐️ Beginners Level One
Perfect if you’re looking to get in to yoga but don’t know where to start!
You’ll learn the basics of sun salutations ☀️ and the standing and floor postures 🧘
Courses with and on Mondays or Thursdays 📆

⭐️Beginners Level Two
For those who have done our beginners L1 course and are looking to explore postures, breathwork and mindfulness a little deeper 😌 or for anyone who’s done yoga in the past but feels a bit rusty and wants to get back into it!
Courses with or Tuesdays or Wednesdays 📆

is an alignment based practise with a focus on precision in the postures 🧘
In this class, we hold postures for some time to strengthen and lengthen muscles 💪🏻 and to cultivate mental focus 🧠
We often use props to guide our bodies into our optimal shape ☺️
The teacher Audrey Maasdorp is a level 3 yoga teacher with over 35 years of experience including studying with the Iyengar family in India for many years.
