We are pleased to announce that our practice has recently been certified by EMS through the Swiss DolorClast® Academy.

Our team has completed clinical training in Guided DolorClast® Therapy, which allows us to offer clinically proven, non-invasive treatment solutions to treat and heal over 90% of lower limb musculoskeletal pain.

This week we got out of the clinic and went to visit some brilliant colleagues at Up & Running York ☀️

No photos from inside… mainly because we were far too busy chatting, sharing ideas and learning!

But here’s one of us afterwards, smiling in the sunshine 😊

A good reminder that networking doesn’t have to be formal or forced — sometimes it’s just about taking the time to connect, listen and learn from each other and wow Mark and his team really know their stuff when it comes to running footwear! 🏃‍♂️👟

Those conversations? That’s where the real value is. Looking forward now to returning the favour and showing them what we do!

Last week, our team came together for a CPR refresher 🫀. Having had personal experience of delivering CPR in an emergency situation, I feel this is more than just a skill, it’s a commitment to patient safety and being ready to act when it matters most. it’s reassuring to see our whole team, not just our clinicians, fully committed to being ready when it matters the most.

Well that’s a wrap for 2025!

We reopen on Monday 5th January 2026 (our Selby branch is open on Friday the 2nd too).

What a year it has been for Team YPL from welcoming new team members Jodie and Sarah to saying goodbye but good luck to Evie and Liz. And not forgetting our move in York to our fabulous new clinic, bringing the team all together in one space.

Wishing all our wonderful patients, families, friends, suppliers and supporters an absolutely fabulous Christmas and all the very best for 2026 🎉🎉

NHS England reported 3,890 ingrown toenails presented at A&E last winter. Podiatrists are the experts in foot and lower limb care and can provide specialist care for ingrown nails, including minor surgery to resolve them.
